White Pumpkin Arrangement: Day 11 of 31

Hello! It's Day 11 of the 31 Days of Halloween. Today's project doesn't have the creep factor typically associated with the 31 Days, but I love this stamp set so much that I had to include it.

This is the Fall Arrangement Perfectly Clear stamp set from Stampendous. One of my favorite things about the set is that you don't have to add the Jack O Lantern face. It's a separate stamp. There are lots of other fun little stamps that come with the set too. I decided to make my pumpkin white, as I love them and they are just magical.

I colored the image with Zig Clean Color markers on Canson Mixed Media Paper. I went with some unusual colors for the flowers, and I am so happy that I did. My card base is Kraft cardstock, and I stamped the amazing spider web from the Spider Fear Perfectly Clear stamp set with Rich Cocoa Memento. I thought it looked great in brown. I also added some black ric-rak to the bottom of the card for some texture.

I would love to have this arrangement IRL for my fireplace. It's gorgeous and the colour palette is so rich. The spider web background is fabulous, as well. I thought it was designer paper and was looking to see the brand so I could snag some :) Thanks for the inspiration! Bonnie (LeighSBDesigns DT)

Mediterranean Dreams Shaker

Hello! Today I have a card that features the Mediterranean Dreams Subscription Kit from White Rose Crafts.  This fabulous Subscription Kit brings together sparkling, azure Mediterranean seas, sun-bleached shores and the rich colors of vibrant Mediterranean cultures in a carefully curated kit. I knew I just had to try the Jillibean Soup shaker card and I chose to use one of the stamps (from Kaisercraft) to make my background. I stamped the seashell with Tea Dye Distress Oxide all over the background of the card. Then I applied some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide to my craft mat, spritzed it with some water, and splattered it on to my card base. Last, I inked the edges with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide with a Mini Blending Brush. For my sentiment, I die cut a stitched rectangle from my stash, out of the pearly yellow cardstock that came in the kit and stamped it with "Wish You Were Here" stamp from the same "Summer Splash" stamp set, with StazOn Pigment ink. And ...

Echo Park Blog Hop with Imagine

Greetings! This is my second post for the day. This one is not part of the 31 Days of Halloween, but rather a super-duper blog hop that the Artists in Residence for Imagine are doing with Echo Park . So if you're here for my Day 7 project, please check out the post HERE . But before you do that, scroll on to check out this one. There are prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check out the Imagine Blog as well as the Echo Park Blogs for details. I created my background by applying Dandelion and Tangelo Memento Ink to my brayer. Then I sprayed it with Ink Potion No. 9 to help the colors blend and to act as an extender to keep the inks wet longer. After I rolled the colors out on to watercolor paper and let it dry, I stamped the lovely doily-like image from Echo Park's Simply Sweet Stamp Set with Grape Jelly Memento. I also received the super pretty Heart Doily Designer Die  which I used with a true purple cardstock. But it needed something....and in rolls the super fabul...
