Day 5 of 12 Days of Creepmas: Got Mistletoe?

Hello! It's Day 5 of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas. Today, I have a card featuring a Dilly Beans image. It's "Disturbed Snowman #276." I love this guy!

Isn't he great? As crazy as he looks, he has a huge heart. I made this a very simple card...using only 3 strips of paper and an Inkadinkado sentiment.

I colored the snowman using watercolors. And I inked around the edges of him and the card itself using Distress Inks. I used Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs.

I hoe you like my simple little card! Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers. They are all listed in my side bar. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creep-tastic day!

February Smeared & Smudged Sketch Challenge

The new Smeared & Smudged challenges are up and ready for you to participate in! I got instantly inspired by Kelliā€™s card sketch for the month, as I have been working with different ideas for my next ā€œTarot Card.ā€ Haha! Thatā€™s actually pretty funny! If youā€™ve been checking in over the past couple of weeks, you may have seen my Misty Benson Tarot Set 1 ( Smeared Ink ) cards. Iā€™ve used The World and The Fool so far. Today, I bring you Death. Donā€™t worryā€¦itā€™s actually a joyful imageā€¦one that I intend to use a lot! First, hereā€™s the sketch. I flipped it and changed the ribbon and embellishment a bit. Can I just start off by saying that it is quite nerve wracking to slice your image??? I have done it a few times in the past, but I always get butterflies when I attempt it again. I colored the image and the card itself using nothing but Distress Inks and my Cut-n-Dry Nibs. My skull button at the top has been colored with Alcohol Inks.   The colors look a little off ...
