Non-Traditional Christmas Colors with Dilly Beans

Greetings! I have a new Dilly Beans challenge to share with you today. This week, we are challenging you to use non-traditional colors for Christmas. Think hot pink, purple, lime green, and turquoise. Heres my creation.

The image is Snowmen Frame #516. Aren't they cute? I made this card for my sister for her Birthday, which was last month (yes, I gave it to her on time). She loves snowmen, so as soon as I got this image, I knew I needed to use it for her.

I colored these guys with watercolors. I really enjoyed painting them.

February Smeared & Smudged Sketch Challenge

The new Smeared & Smudged challenges are up and ready for you to participate in! I got instantly inspired by Kelli’s card sketch for the month, as I have been working with different ideas for my next “Tarot Card.” Haha! That’s actually pretty funny! Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium .
