Day 12 of 12 Days of Creepmas

***So sorry! I thought I had set the auto post on this! My humble apologies! Greetings! 'Tis the last day of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas. Once again, this month has totally flown by for me. Guess that's how it will always be from now on! For my card today, I have a Stampotique image, dressed up with a Bombshell Stamps Santa hat, a Background stamp by Smeared Ink, and a sentiment from Inkadinkado. I just love his huge bow tie! I colored him with watercolor markers, and Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. I really lik coloring these creepy Stampotique images. I am so happy I finally have some in my collection. I hope you have enjoyed the 12 Days of Creepmas! I hope you have/had a wonderful Holiday! Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers one llast time. They are all listed in my side bar. Day 11 of 12 Days of Creepmas: Shopping!

Holy cow...I am just coming in under the wire at this point. It's almost noon here! As I have mentioned, these past two weeks have been insane. And I can't seem to have a moment to get it all done! Today's project isn't at all creepy...and luckily, I had it colored who knows when! But, the image is from Kenny K ..and we Smeared & Smudgers all like Kenny K, right? I colored her with pencils and a few watercolor markers. I think she's super sassy! I literally threw this card together with scraps that were already cut. Hey, at least I'm dedicated, right? Sorry I put this up so late... There's also a new Dilly Beans Challenge going on....so please visit the Challenge Blog to check it out. Sadly, I didn't have time to play, but I am going to try to have something for it ASAP! Thanks for your patience and understanding. Please be sure to visit the Jolly Bloggers, listed in my side bar. Have a creeptastic day! And, HAPPY YULE to all my friends...

All I want for Christmas...:Day 10 of 12 Days of Creepmas

Greetings! It's time for my newest project for the Smeared and Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas! We are quickly reaching the end of this fun ride, and the time has gone SO fast! Having both of my kids Birthdays in December really makes it hard for me to keep up with everything! For this card, I used my beloved Bombshell Stamps . This card is super glittery! I used Girl's Ruin and Holiday Accessory  for this card. Don'tcha just lover her Santa hat? Seriously, where I can I get these shoes in my size? If you haven't noticed, I changed the sentiment a bit.... It now says "All I really want.....is you shoes!" I think I may add a few rhinestones or black pearls to this....I kinda ran out of time! But, in person, it does have a lot of impact from all the glitter. But really, can you ever have too much glitter? I think not! Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers. They are all listed in my side bar. And over at the Bombshell Blog , this mon...

Day 9 of 12 Days of Creepmas

Welcome to the 9th day of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas! Today, I have a tag I've made. I used a Smeared Ink image that I recently got...I had wanted it for a while. I love bats, so I was really stoked to get this guy. Perfect image for Creepmas! I used watercolors to color the image in. Here's a closer look. I also watercolored the background of my tag. Then I took a Glimmer Screen from Tattered Angels and painted over it with white acrylic paint. I stamped my sentiment with my Just Rite alpha stamper. And I added some sparkly, chunky yarn...that kinda looks like dreadlocks. This was a fun tag. I really enjoyed making the background. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers. They are all listed in my sidebar. And now, I need to take a moment for something else. 6 years ago today, I became a Mom. And I couldn't be happier or more proud. My Phoenix is 6 today, and I cannot believe how quickly time has passed. He is totally amazing,...

Day 8 of 12 Days, and a New DICC

Hello! It's the 15th, so that means it's time for a new Desert Islands Crafters Challenge , plus it's Day 8 of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas. I came up with the itinerary this time around and we are sponsored by Stitchy Bear. Remember  if you decide to play, you must use at least 3 things off of the itinerary. 1. Winter Holiday 2. Silver & Gold 3. Magical Creatures 4. Glitter 5. 3 or more Patterned Papers 6. Handmade Embellishment 7. Make it a Gift 8. Chalk 9. Bells 10. Non-Craft Item Here's what I came up with. I used numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 for my card. I love all things fairy, so I knew I had to work with her! I used Spectrum Noir markers and Copics to color this Christmas fairy in. Plus, I used two colors of Stickles on her wings. Not sure if you can tell, but the white oval she is mounted on is shimmery and has a really cool brushy texture to it. My sentiment is from Inkadinkado. I would li...

Day 7 of 12: You Ain't Gettin' S@#!

It's Day 7 of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas. My card today isn't creepy at all, but it is rather snarky. And we love snarky over at S&S, don't we? I got the image from Bugaboo. It's been in my arsenal for a while now, but I thought this was the perfect time to use it. I know a few people that deserve this card. I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and Copics. Unfortunately, you can't see any of the shading I did behind her. Sometimes my Ott light is just too damn bright. Anyone else have that problem? Things just get washed out sometimes. Anywho...I've got quite the headache, and I think I need some rest. So...short post today! But pleae be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers, they are all listed in my side bar. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creep-tastic day!

Day 6 of 12, Wicked Wednesday & A Day for Daisies

Hello! It's Day 6 of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas. I made another card for it. I am also sharing a project that I made for a couple of challenges. Let's start with Creepmas. But I tell you...the creep factor for this card is going to vary depending on who is looking at it. Have you every been outside at dusk, when it's recently snowed? It's soooooo quiet. And the landscape looks so very different with all that snow. Then, you hear a rustle coming from somewhere. And you see a bright splotch of red against a white and black backdrop. It's a lone cardinal in a birch tree. Not too creepy right? Except for that instant when you didn't know what made the rustling sound....... I made this card for a friend of  mine. She posted a photo very similar to this one on my Facebook wall. She knows how special cardinals are to me, so I decided to replicate the image for her as a little thank you.  Now it's time for my second project. I...

Day 5 of 12 Days of Creepmas: Got Mistletoe?

Hello! It's Day 5 of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas. Today, I have a card featuring a Dilly Beans image. It's "Disturbed Snowman #276." I love this guy! Isn't he great? As crazy as he looks, he has a huge heart. I made this a very simple card...using only 3 strips of paper and an Inkadinkado sentiment. I colored the snowman using watercolors. And I inked around the edges of him and the card itself using Distress Inks. I used Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs. I hoe you like my simple little card! Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers. They are all listed in my side bar. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creep-tastic day!

Day 3 of 12 Days of Creepmas: Creepmas Girl

Welcome to Day 3 of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas! Today I have a card that uses Creepmas Girl from Rick St. Dennis . She told me her sad tale....but take a look at the card first. This poor girl worked on a Christmas Tree farm. But all the tress died because of a drought. Creepmas girl....well...she went a little crazy... She is always trying to save these poor, dead, brown trees. Look! She has even decorated one! She just wants people to think her trees are beautiful. But, well...you see what they look like, right??? Not exactly ideal Christmas Trees. Ok...so maybe I've lost my mind. Or perhaps I just need to get some more sleep............... I colored her with watercolor markers, Spectrum Noirs and Copics. My tree stamp is from Inkadinkado. My sentiment was made with a alpha stamp from Just Rite. Now off with you! Hop along! But be sure to visit all of the Jolly Bloggers...the full hop list is in my side bar. ...

Kenny K Design Team Call

I very recently went from being on four design teams, to being on only 2. At one point, I was on 5! There was always one team in particular that I wanted to be on, but the timing wasn't right, or I already had enough on my plate. But, the stars have (hopefully) aligned themselves. I am trying out for the Kenny K Design team. Today, I am sharing not only a new Kenny K project, but a few of my favorites from the past. I hope you enjoy them all! I just finished this card for the latest Kenny K Challenge which is Pearls. I used Allura Von D (who is my favorite Kenny K gurl that I have. I used my usual mix of watercolor markers and Copics to color her in. I, of course, had to give her some teal hair in the front to match mine. I used some foiled paper (the one with the kisses) and a couple of other funky patterns. I stamped the sentiment with a Just Rite stamper, and my pears are Liquid Pearls in Platinum from Ranger. Can I just say that I really, really want her boots! Di...

Heavenly Peace: Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Christmas. Today I have a card that uses an absolutely beautiful stamp. One that may be unexpected from me. Or…perhaps not. My husband was totally surprised when he saw this completed card. Thinking it was so overtly “Catholic” and just not me at all. Please don’t take this the wrong way. It’s just not my tendency to create things with this type of undertone. I begged to differ. I told him that the Madonna is a representation of The Goddess to me. Then, he understood. He liked the card very much, but he didn’t understand why I would have used a stamp such as this one. I think she’s beautiful. This image is from Inkadinkado. I inked her in Black Lightening, from the Brilliance collection by Tsukineko. She how glimmery she is? I then colored her using Distress Inks only. It’s been a while since I’ve done that…and it felt wonderful! I used an edge distresser by Heidi Swapp, and then once again pulled out that ...

Snowflakes Make Me Smile! Day 9 of the S&S 12 Days of Christmas

4 Years ago today, I became a Mom. My son Phoenix was born at 8:32PM. What an incredible night it was. I cannot believe that he is 4 years old. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I love you, my son!!! I have an super simple card to share today. Don’t we all need that sometimes? Super simple? Even though it’s easy, it’s pretty damn adorable! I used a single stamp (Stamps Happen, Inc.) and colored it in with my colored pencils. Some plaid paper, a touch of black for some punch, and voila! Finished! Isn’t he sweet? I love his patches! I know this is a short post today, but there is a lot going on… So now you can go and check out the rest of the Jolly Bloggers, posted on my sidebar. Have an inspiring day!!!

Snowglobe Grumpie: Day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas

Greetings on this lovely Friday! I still cannot believe that is the last month of the year! Today I bring you my second card for the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Christmas. And not only is is Smeared Ink Day (where we are challenged to use only Smeared Ink Stamps on your projects), but Friday is also my day to show off some of the sick and twisted goodness that is Smeared Ink.  So, on to the goods… Ok, I didn’t use only Smeared Ink stamps…but I used two ! The adorable Grumpie and sentiment is from the Lil Grumpies set, and the snowglobe is from Inkadinkado. I have had it forever, and I love putting all sorts of things in it. You may just see it again this month! I stamped the snowglobe first, then tried to get the Grumpie to sit on the base of the globe. It’s not easy! But, I think he’s fine where he is. I then embossed the globe with glitter powder for the globe itself, and gold for the base. Then I colored the Grumpie in with colored pencils. Phoenix told me to m...
