Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #17

Hello! Today, I am sharing a card for the latest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, which happens to be a color challenge. I love color challenges, and it's been a while since I have participated in one.

I used the Christmas Dreams set, which I just got through a Black Friday sale. I stamped the images I wanted to use on Canson Mixed Media Paper with VersaFine Ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.

I fussy cut all of the pieces out, and used Nuvo Drops in Sea Breeze on the ornaments (they were colored with the Persian Blue Zig first) for dimension and shine. I used some Doodlebug wood grain paper and a Sizzix die to create my "room" for the elements. The background cardstock is from Bo Bunny.

I am really pleased with this card, and I love the versatility of the Christmas Dreams stamp set because of all the different elements. I think I need to make a kitty card next. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

February Smeared & Smudged Sketch Challenge

The new Smeared & Smudged challenges are up and ready for you to participate in! I got instantly inspired by Kelli’s card sketch for the month, as I have been working with different ideas for my next “Tarot Card.” Haha! That’s actually pretty funny! Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again.
