21st Century Pillow Book

Hello! Today, I am sharing a card for the latest Lawn Fawnatics Challenge , which happens to be a color challenge. I love color challenges, and it's been a while since I have participated in one. I used the Christmas Dreams set, which I just got through a Black Friday sale. I stamped the images I wanted to use on Canson Mixed Media Paper with VersaFine Ink and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I fussy cut all of the pieces out, and used Nuvo Drops in Sea Breeze on the ornaments (they were colored with the Persian Blue Zig first) for dimension and shine. I used some Doodlebug wood grain paper and a Sizzix die to create my "room" for the elements. The background cardstock is from Bo Bunny. I am really pleased with this card, and I love the versatility of the Christmas Dreams stamp set because of all the different elements. I think I need to make a kitty card next. Hello out there! I have 2 ATC's to share with you today. One for the brand new monthly color challenge over at the Bombshell Stamps Blog, and the other is for Wicked Wednesday . Aren't these colors pretty? I was so inspired by them, so I figured the rest of the Bombshell gals would be too. Here's what I made. I used the All My Heart set for this ATC. I used watercolor markers to color in the image. For this week's Wicked Wednesday, the challenge is Easter or Earth Day. I used the sweetest little bunny from Just Some Lines . It's called Egg Hug . Seriously, don't you want to give this cutie a squeeze??? I colored him with my pencils. My sentiment is a Care Bears (how cool is that?!) senti stamp. Greetings! It's time for the latest Chromatic Craze challenge. I love the colors that Laura chose for us this month. Take a look. I am pairing this challenge with this month's Bombshell Stamps ' Sketch Challenge. For my card, I used Koi Tattoo , and a sentiment from Ahoy Sailor. I love me some paint chips. So when I saw the sketch, (you'll have to visit the Bombshell Blog to see it), I knew I needed to use one. And I really thought that the serene colors of this months Chromatic Craze challenge worked really well with this stamp set. I usually see this koi in orange or another bright color, so I wanted to give it a different look. I used Copics and Spectrum Noir Markers for the focal image. Greetings! It's the 20th of the month, so it's time for me to share the second ever Chromatic Craze challenge! The rules are simple. Use 3 or 4 of the given colors in the palette, with minimal other colors. Black, white, and skin tones are fine though. here's this month's palette. I decided to go with another jewelry project, like I did last month. I made a pair of earrings. My orange looks a bit dark in my photos, but it's a pretty, shimmery metallic. The earrings have a lot of movement, so they really show off each of the beads. So what do you think of the newest colors? Aren't they pretty? I would love to see your project!
