Greetings! I have a new Bombshell Stamps card to share with you today. I went a little over the top with this one, as I combined 3 different Bombshell challenges into one! First, I used this month's Sketch Challenge. Then, I went for this month's Pin-Up Challenge. Last, we Bombshell gals have a DT only contest every 2 months, so I wanted to participate in that as well. It was tough to do all 3, but I did it! Here's what I made...then I'll give you the break down for each challenge.

Here is the sketch that Kathi created for us.
Yeah, I changed it up a bit. But that's part of the fun of doing a sketch challenge. Making it your own.

The second challenge was the Pin-Up challenge, as I mentioned before. Jennie, AKA Ms. May, gave us a really cool Tic Tac Toe challenge.

You know the drill...ya gotta do 3 in a row. So I went with Pearls, Something New, and Red. I used 2 little black pearls, my something new was my brand-spankin' Cherry Bomb and Festive Calaveras set that I just scored, and the red...well, I think that's pretty obvious.

The last challenge was the one for the DT only. I loved this challenge, and I need to participate again before the month is up,. We have been challenged by Kelli to use as many sets on one project as possible. That is totally my type of challenge! So how many did I use? SIX! I used Man's RuinCherry BombPinstripesHomeward BoundFestive Calaveras, and Rise and Shine. It took me quite a while to figure out which images from which sets I wanted to use, but it was fun to think about all of the cool combinations that could be made.
You still have time to play along in 2 of the 3 challenges! I hope that you do, there's stamps up for grabs! To play along, please visit the Bombshell Blog. And please don't forget to sign up for this month's Hump Day Hop. The theme is May Holidays. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

February Smeared & Smudged Sketch Challenge

The new Smeared & Smudged challenges are up and ready for you to participate in! I got instantly inspired by Kelli’s card sketch for the month, as I have been working with different ideas for my next “Tarot Card.” Haha! That’s actually pretty funny! If you’ve been checking in over the past couple of weeks, you may have seen my Misty Benson Tarot Set 1 ( Smeared Ink ) cards. I’ve used The World and The Fool so far. Today, I bring you Death. Don’t worry…it’s actually a joyful image…one that I intend to use a lot! First, here’s the sketch. I flipped it and changed the ribbon and embellishment a bit. Can I just start off by saying that it is quite nerve wracking to slice your image??? I have done it a few times in the past, but I always get butterflies when I attempt it again. I colored the image and the card itself using nothing but Distress Inks and my Cut-n-Dry Nibs. My skull button at the top has been colored with Alcohol Inks.   The colors look a little off to m

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga
