Metal Charms with Dilly Beans, and Bring the Heat with Bombshell

Happy Friday! I have 2 project to share with you today. The first is for Dilly Beans . For this 2 week challenge, you need to add a metal charm. The other is for Bombshell Stamps . Ms. February asked us to "Bring the Heat," which, being that it is literally 18 degrees out right now, I would really enjoy. Here's my Dilly Beans project. As you can tell from the tropical feel of this card, I am really freaking cold. I cannot wait for the warm weather! I used image #571- Brooke for my card. I love her flower. My "Aloha" is fro the Bombshell set, Hawaiian Girl . Now, on to Bombshell! This card also used the Hawaiian Girl set. That's where the trees came from. The lounging lady came from the Rise and Shine set. I would really like to be where she is right now. My background is done entirely with  torn paper. It was a lot of fun, and my daughter got a kick out of seeing me create the scene. I hope you liked my projects! And I really hope that ...

Hammock Day with Bombshell Stamps

Hello! I have a fun holiday to share with you today. National Hammock Day! Here's a description via Holiday Insights .  " Summer is in full swing. It's time to slow down and to relax. During the Dog Days of summer (and all of the other summer days, too), there is no better place to slow down and relax, than on a hammock.Hammock Day is appropriately celebrated right in the middle of the Dog Days of summer (July 3 though August 11th.Hammock Day exists to enjoy summer as it should be enjoyed. People celebrate Hammock Day by spending as much time relaxing on it as possible. Getting out of your hammock to get a snack, or your favorite summer beverage is okay. But, it is not a day for work. Cutting the lawn is forbidden on this day." I decided to make a necklace using the lovely focal image from Rise and Shine , and Shrinky Dinks.  I colored her with colored pencils. This is actually version #2. The first one had the full background and banner. I knew the glossy sid...
Greetings! I have a new Bombshell Stamps card to share with you today. I went a little over the top with this one, as I combined 3 different Bombshell challenges into one! First, I used this month's Sketch Challenge. Then, I went for this month's Pin-Up Challenge. Last, we Bombshell gals have a DT only contest every 2 months, so I wanted to participate in that as well. It was tough to do all 3, but I did it! Here's what I made...then I'll give you the break down for each challenge. Here is the sketch that Kathi created for us. Yeah, I changed it up a bit. But that's part of the fun of doing a sketch challenge. Making it your own. The second challenge was the Pin-Up challenge, as I mentioned before. Jennie , AKA Ms. May, gave us a really cool Tic Tac Toe challenge. You know the drill...ya gotta do 3 in a row. So I went with Pearls, Something New, and Red. I used 2 little black pearls, my something new was my brand-spankin' Cherry Bomb and Festi...

Rise and Shine!

Greetings, bloggy friends! I have a Bombshell Stamps card to share with you today. And it’s one of those cards that I just made to make it. No challenges, no requirements, nothing but me having fun. I used Rise and Shine , which is one of the newest sets for me. I colored this pretty little Bombshell a couple of weeks ago, but nothing I paired with it was working for me. The today, inspiration struck and I assembled it pretty quickly. I used a double whammy of watercolor markers and Copics for her. I used a bunch of scraps I had, and some cardboard that I embossed with green powder. I loved the texture on the cardboard and from the powder. This was such a relaxing and fun card for me to make. I guess that Bombshell is sending off some good vibes! She was wonderful to color, and I can already envision what else I can do with her. Well, I’m off to create some more! Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
