Greetings! Have you visited the Bombshell Blog lately? If you have, thank you. If you haven't, you really should! You can meet our newbies, and check out some of the coolest projects around. Yesterday, we shared the April Sketch Challenge with you. So I figured I would share my card here today. Here's the sketch, created by out fabulous DT Coordinator, Kathi.
I LOVE this sketch. I love the suggestion of using all of those different papers. In fact, I am going to keep it so that I can use it again. Hopefully this month. Here's my take on it.
I used my Bombshell Stamps Sugar Skulls set, and a mess of Basic Grey Paper. I started off by coloring my skulls with my watercolor markers.
After I had chosen my paper, and saw how distressed everything was, I realized the white cardstock was too white. So I inked it up with a couple of Distress Inks, and that made it work really well with my Basic Grey papers. I also inked the edges of the card itself, and the sentiment strip.
Great sketch, right? So why not play along? Go on over to the Bombshell Blog to see what some of the other gals created. Then, you can add your own version below! Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
