Floral Typewriter

Hello! This week, the Stampendous team will be sharing projects that feature the Spring Border Die collection. I need to apologize right away, as for some reason, I only have 1 photo of today's card. But I think that the design is simple enough where one shot will suffice. My piece has the floral die, as well as the Floral Typewriter Perfectly Clear Stamp set. The full tutorial is below.

Supplies:
Stampendous:
SSC1271: Floral Typewriter Perfectly Clear Stamp Set
DCP1009: Spring Borders Die Set: Floral

Other:
My Colors Cardstock: Wildflower
Bo Bunny: Turquoise Double Dot cardstock #12TD300
Imagine: VersaFine Ink in Onyx Black, Fireworks! Spray in Rose Bud, New Sprout, and Desert Sand, On Point Glue
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers: 021, 025, 026, 027, 033, 036, 037, 041, 042, 044, 047, 050, 052, 064, 080, 081, 082, 091, 094, 200, 202, 303
Tonic: Nuvo Crystal Drops in Crushed Grape
Canson: Mixed Media Paper
Scrapbook Adhesives: Tape Runner

Directions:
1. Stamp the Floral Typewriter on to Mixed Media Paper using VersaFine Ink.

2. Stamp the sentiment on to the paper coming out of the typewriter also with VersaFine Ink.

3. Color the stamped image using the Zig Clean Color Markers listed.

4. Cut the image out. I left a white border around it.

5. Create the card base out of Wildflower cardstock, cut to 5 1/2" x 8."

6. Cut a mat of Turquoise Double Dot, cut to the size of 5 1/4" x 3 3/4."

7. Cut the Floral Border die out of Mixed Media Paper.

8. Spray the die cut image using Fireworks! Spray in Rose Bud, New Sprout, and Desert Sand. Let dry.

9. Attach the border die cut to the mat using On Point Glue. Trim off the excess from ether side.

10. Adhere the mat to the card base, and the typewriter to the mat using a Tape Runner.

11. Using Nuvo Crystal Drops in Crushed Grape, apply dots of color to the center of each flower. Let dry.

Please be sure to visit the Stampendous Blog to see many more projects featuring this versatile die set. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga

Remembering Aletha

Greetings, Friends. This post today is part of a very special blog hop. We are celebrating the life of an amazingly talented artist and friend. The crafting community lost Aletha Jane Williams on May 5, 2019. Those of us that worked with her on Design Teams or on Challenge Blogs all agree that she was one of the sweetest and most talented women we knew. We are not here to mourn her loss though. This hop is happening in conjunction with a very special celebration of her life and her art that her husband Bob is holding in her home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Please join us in honoring our incredibly creative friend Aletha . My card features the "Remembering Aletha" Sprite, which Mitzi (owner and artist of Aurora Wings ) created specifically for this hop. She is generously giving the digi away to all, over on her blog. This sweet Sprite looks so much like Aletha, and I know she would have been honored. If you download this digi for yourself, please be sure to give a huge "
