Tree Wish Tag

Hello! All this week, the Stampendous team has been sharing projects with a "tree' theme. For my offering today, I have a tag that uses the Tree Wish stamp. My full tutorial is below.

Stampendous:
V337: Tree Wish
TP118: Vintage Olive Tinsel Embossing Powder
DP020: Clear Embossing Powder
AC672HSR: Red Dot Sparklers
MPW811: Mixed Media White Paper

Other:
Sizzix: 658784- Framelets Tag Collection
Imagine: Evergreen VersaColor Ink, Memento Markers in Lady Bug, Cottage Ivy, Bamboo Leaves, Cantaloupe, and Rhubarb Stalk, VersaMagic in Sahara Sand and Wheat, Fireworks! Spray in New Sprout, VersaMark Ink
Creative Impressions: 80234- 1/4" Red & Green Gingham Ribbon

Directions:
1. Die cut the 2 3/8" x 4 3/4" Framelets tag out of Mixed Media White Paper

2. Stamp the image with Evergreen VersaColor.

3. Sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder on to the image and heat set.

4. Color the image using the Memento Markers listed.

5. Swirl VersaMagic ink in Desert Sand and Wheat on the tag. Wipe off the embossed area with a cloth or tissue.

6. Spritz the tag with New Sprout Fireworks! Spray. Wipe off the embossed area with a cloth or tissue.

7. Ink the edges of the tag with VersaMark ink. I like to do 2 edges at a time.

8. Sprinkle the inked edges with Vintage Olive Tinsel and heat set.

9. Repeat with the other 2 sides.

10. Apply Red Dot Sparklers to the tag.

11. Tie ribbon to the tag.

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium .
