Hello! It's time for a new challenge with the A Day for Daises team. For the next 2 week,s we are asking you to "Use Vellum." The images we are showcasing are from the Magical Dancers collection. I am sharing Magical Bloom Dancer.
I used Copics to color her in, and I went a little gothic with her. Her skin is actually grey. Her dress is showing as a little more yellow than the lime that it is in real life, but you get the idea.
I used a fun bead mix around the image's border for some texture. For my vellum, I was happy to have lime...which really matches her dress perfectly, and I stamped it with a sheet music stamp (Mixed Media Cling Rubber Musical Motif) from Stampendous, and I embossed it with Detail Black Embossing Powder.
I also added some beautiful sheer ribbon from May Arts in a deep orange to go with the color of the poppies on the sweet dancer. The ink I used around the edges is Tuxedo Black Memento from Imagine Crafts. That's it for me today. Please be sure to visit the rest of the A Day for Daises gals over on the blog. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
