Greetings! I am sharing a new card featuring one of the lovely new images from A Day for Daises today. She's part of the May Club Kit, and is called Little Dancer Daisy.
I went along with our current challenge theme which is, "Paint it Up!" I used a couple of Copics to color her hair, skin, pants, and flowers, and I water colored her dress. I used a circle cutter to trim her out.
For the water she is dancing in, I sprayed Bahama Blue Fireworks!, Original Goosebumps, and Wedding Dress irRESISTables...all from Imagine Crafts. Then I unscrewed the sprayer from my Denim Memories Mist and drew the water ripples with the straw end after the other layers of spray had dried.
You can see the texture and shine of the "water" in the photo above. Last, I die cut my sentiment, which is from the Stampendous Spring Sentiments set, with a Fitted Frame (also from Stampendous). I used foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives to pop them up. I'd like to note that the sprays were done on a separate piece of white cardstock, so that my card base didn't curl up. Please be sure to check out the rest of this week's creations from the A Day for Daises team over on the Blog. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
