Greetings! It's Friday, so I have a new project featuring an image from A Day for Daisies. I used Magical Poppy Dancer to create a gothic card.
I colored her with my Tombow Dual Brush Markers, and then I tore the paper surrounding her. Then I inked the edges with Black Shimmer Delicata Ink from Imagine Crafts.
The background was created with a fabulous embossing folder from Sizzix. After it was embossed, I inked the raised areas with the same Black Shimmer ink. I love how metallic it is.
You can really see it here. I inked my card base with Grape Jelly Memento ink, and I created a little sentiment with some leftover black cardstock. I wrote "danse macabre" with a Signal White Molotow pen. I love these pens. Best white pens I've ever used!!! I crumpled the paper up and inked it with Black Shimmer as well.
I added just a little bit of washi tape that has some spider webs to the upper left corner. The card just needed a little something more. I hope you like my take on this lovely ballerina. Please be sure to visit the rest of the A Day for Daises team over on the Blog. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
