Speak No Evil: Day 11 of 31 Days of Halloween

Hello again! I have a card to share with you today, and I am really happy with how it turned out. I started off with Speak No Evil from the Stamping Chef.

I haven't gotten to color too many images for this 31 Days so far, so I was really happy to get this one all done up. I colored her mostly with watercolor markers, but  did use a few alcohol markers, and Antique Linen Distress Ink Reinker for her face. Originally, I had her face whte with a bit of gray to give shadows. But after picking my papers and such, the white was way too stark. I applied the ink with a brush after diluting it with a bit of water.

Her hair was a great to color. I love how it was drawn. The little "cards" on the side was another part of my winnings from the last 31 Days. They are from a Graphics 45 pad that was in my parcel. I thought they were perfect with her.

I'm going to enter my card into The Stamping Chef's current challenge which is Anything Goes. Now I bid you adieu...please be sure to check out the rest of the Wicked Bloggers, all listed in my sidebar. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a creep-tastic day!

You have chosen the perfect cards and bits to add to her image.
Her skintone is marvelous.
I agree, even a dull white would not have had the same impact.
A more yellowed linen works beautifully.

what can I say - LOVE her hair!

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga
