My dear friend Alex is a Pin-Up once again for Bombshell Stamps, and I am beyond thrilled about it. As Pin-Up for the month of October, she has the privilege to choose a challenge for us to all participate in. She decided to go with "Halloween Bling," which just sounded fabulous to me.
I used one of the outfits from Halloween Costume from Bombshell Stamps. I've gotta be honest. I love how my witch came out. And I love the papers I chose. But, I am not happy with the end result. I don't know if it's the layout, the combination of the papers with the colors of the image...I'm just not happy with it. But, I'll give you a closer look at the witch so you can see some of the "bling" I used.
If you click on the picture, you will see it bigger. I received some FABULOUS gifts from my very thoughtful friend Kathi last week, and they included Bedazzlers from Ranger (Suze Weinberg). So I chose my colors based off of one of those little jars of bling-y goodness. I used watercolor markers and Copics to color her in. And I embossed the edge of her background with glittery embossing powder.
I used the same embossing powder around my sentiment (from Stampendous!), and I dotted Turquoise Stickles. My paper has lots of lovely foil which really makes the whole card shine. But again, I am not happy with the end result. Which is ok. I'll just let it sit for a while and maybe I can fix it. If nothing else, my Bombshell looks pretty rad. I think it turned out wonderful, great coloring on your image! And I love the bling you added around her neck, bottom of her skirt, and hat. I think you did a great job!
