Day 30 of 31: October Bombshell Hump Day Hop- Witching Hour

Hello Horrifying Hoppers! Welcome to the last Wednesday of the month. That means it's time for the Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop! This month, I chose the theme "Witching Hour." The witching hour is supposedly the time when witches, ghosts and other supernatural creatures wreak havoc. I say the witching hour can be any hour when you have goblins like mine. Just kidding. My kids are actually really well behaved. But I digress. And after this month, you are probably not surprised. I used Bombshell Angel , and the witch costume from the Halloween Costume digi set for my focal piece. I colored her with alcohol markers. After I cut her out, I glued her to a tag that I had inked with 2 chalk inks (Color Box), and a few smaller stamps. I used the bats from Holiday Accessory , and the scroll from Alter Skulls.   My sentiment is an old image from Basic Grey. I added some tattered yarn for my tassel, and that is it. Below is the full hop list. Please visit everyone, and f...

Day 2 of 31: Bombshell's October Pin-Up Challenge

Hello! Welcome to Day 2 of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween. Today, I am sharing the Bombshell Stamps ' October Pinup Challenge.  Sharon Rogers , has set this month's challenge to create a Halloween project using black, orange, purple, and lime green. I used Halloween Costume for Bombshell Angel and the bats from Holiday Accessory for my card. I'd like to point out that the green background paper does actually have that fade from dark to light. That wasn't my lighting being weird or anything. I colored my Bombshell with colored pencils. I don't get to use my pencils too often, so it was really nice to bust 'em out. I didn't do a whole lot to this card, as I loved the green paper's print. I didn't want to hide too much of it. This is an easy challenge for you to play along with, especially you Wicked Bloggers that have some Bombshells and not all of your projects complete. So play along! You could win a new set of stamps...

It's Halloween!!! Plus, the Bombshell Hump Day Hop!

Happy Halloween! My post may be getting up later than I would have liked, but at least it's going up! As many of you know, I am on Long Island, which got pummeled by Hurricane Sandy this week. I had no power for 24 hours, but I am certainly one of the lucky ones. My power is back, though I have no internet, phone, or TV. Thankfully, my Mom's internet is up, so I scurried over to her place so that I could get my post live. On to my project. It's the last Wednesday of the month, so that means, not only is it my last 31 Days project (major sniff!!!), but it's also the Bombshell Stamps Hump Day Hop! My challenge for this month was Black and White Halloween. I used one of the Halloween Costumes . I love this Steampunk-y outfit. I colored her using 4 shades of Copics. N2, T0, C3, and 110. I also used Banner Sayings  to write Happy Halloween in. I'm keeping my post short and sweet, because service isn't fully back to where it should be...and I worry my mo...

Day 17 of 31 Days: Bombshell Halloween Bling!

My dear friend Alex is a Pin-Up once again for Bombshell Stamps, and I am beyond thrilled about it. As Pin-Up for the month of October, she has the privilege to choose a challenge for us to all participate in. She decided to go with "Halloween Bling," which just sounded fabulous to me. I used one of the outfits from  Halloween Costume from Bombshell Stamps . I've gotta be honest. I love how my witch came out. And I love the papers I chose. But, I am not happy with the end result. I don't know if it's the layout, the combination of the papers with the colors of the image...I'm just not happy with it. But, I'll give you a closer look at the witch so you can see some of the "bling" I used. If you click on the picture, you will see it bigger. I received some FABULOUS gifts from my very thoughtful friend Kathi last week, and they included Bedazzlers from Ranger (Suze Weinberg). So I chose my colors based off of one of those little jars of b...
