Windowrama and Helebore

Hello! The January 2019 catalog from Stampendous is officially out! You are going to love the new products, especially the new die set that the team is featuring this week. It's called the Windorama Die Set and it is so versatile and fun! I will be suing this die set quite a bit! I am also using some of the newest stamps, including the Small Hellebore. I love hellebore flowers... I have some growing in my garden. I love their deep and unusual colors, which I tried to capture in my project for today. My full instructions are below.

Directions:
1. Stamp the Hellebore image on to Canson Mixed Media paper with Nocturne ink.

2. Color the Hellebore with the Zig markers listed.

3. Fussy cut the image.

4. Die cut the Windowrama with Parakeet and Parakeet cardstock.

5. Die cut 2 sets of leaves from a coordinating green cardstock.

6. Add detail to the leaves with Zig's May Green (047).

7. Stamp the sentiment on to the right side of the inside of the green panel with VersaMark Ink.

8. Sprinkle with Detail Black Embossing Powder and heat set.

9. Stamp the outside of the lavender panel with the Dahlia Collage stamp in Sweet Plum Memento Ink.

10. Glue the Windowrama closed.

I am excited to explore more ideas with the Windowrama. I really think it could be a game changer for dimensional cards because it is so easy to work with. Please be sure to visit the Stampendous Blog to see more ideas. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga
