Cupid Boy with ADfD

Hello! It's my second post for the day. Please be sure to check out my first post for the Laurel Burch hop. But before you do that, I have an announcement. The A Day for Daisies team is sharing our last challenge today. It's a bit of a surprise to all of us, but Tammy needs to ficus on her family right now. So sadly, we have to say goodbye. But, you can be certain that I will still be creating lots of things with the beautiful ADfD images. Our last challenge is Anything Goes, and I used Cupid Boy.

I colored the image on Mixed Media Paper with Zig Clean Color Markers. Notice the single red heart button.

The sentiment is from the Love Always stamp set from Stampendous. Around the edge of the image, I embossed Aged Scarlet Frantage Embossing Powder.

My background was created with 3 colors of Distress Ink blended together with Ranger's Ink Blender. The hearts are from an old Heidi Swapp set, and i used VersaMark to ink them. Then I used Seasonings Embossing Powder. I used more Distress Ink on the card base, and popped up the image layer with foam. Don't tell my husband, but I may use this card for him for Valentine's Day. I hope you will join the A Day for Daisies team for our last challenge. Echo Park Blog Hop with Imagine

Greetings! This is my second post for the day. This one is not part of the 31 Days of Halloween, but rather a super-duper blog hop that the Artists in Residence for Imagine are doing with Echo Park . So if you're here for my Day 7 project, please check out the post HERE . But before you do that, scroll on to check out this one. There are prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check out the Imagine Blog as well as the Echo Park Blogs for details. I created my background by applying Dandelion and Tangelo Memento Ink to my brayer. Then I sprayed it with Ink Potion No. 9 to help the colors blend and to act as an extender to keep the inks wet longer. After I rolled the colors out on to watercolor paper and let it dry, I stamped the lovely doily-like image from Echo Park's Simply Sweet Stamp Set with Grape Jelly Memento. I also received the super pretty Heart Doily Designer Die  which I used with a true purple cardstock. But it needed something....and in rolls the super fabul...
