ADfD Showcase: Add Some Sparkle!

Greetings! It's time for the newest challenge with A Day for Daisies. The theme is "Add Some Sparkle." To give you some inspiration, the Design Team is showcasing Winter Fairies. Here's my project.

I used the Christmas Tree Fairy for my card today, but I went with very non-traditional colors. I made her a bit Victorian, which is the way my mother decorates her house for the holidays.

I colored this beauty with Zig Clean Color Markers and I added sparkle with Kuratake (who makes the Zigs) Wink of Stella in clear. My background, as you can see from the above photo was embossed with Creative Medium in iridescent pink from Imagine along with the Fan Pattern Stencil by Dreamweaver. I also used a sentiment stamp from Stampendous, and spritzed my pink cardstock with Sheer Shimmer Sparkle from Imagine.

Around the edges of the card, I inked Angel Pink Versa Magic and embossed Vintage Pink Embossing Powder as well. Lots of sparkle in that powder! That's it for me today.
