Hello! It's Friday, so it's time for a new challenge with Dilly Beans! This week, we want you to journal or scrapbook with us! This challenge made me very happy, since I have now made 2 whole layouts this month! Woah! Go me! At this rate...I may actually make an album by the end of the year. Hahaha.
My husband and I throw a Summer Party every year for our kids. Their birthdays are in December, so it's hard to throw a big bash for them unless we have it somewhere. And we prefer to party at home. SO this year, the theme was The Very Hungry Caterpillar (which was a big hit, by the way). So if you will notice Phoenix's Shirt (made by my sister Pam), and Pam's headband, it's fabric using the art from the book. Rhiannon's dress also uses this fabric, but you'll have to wait until I make another layout to see it. :)
I used Halloween Skellie Framed for this page. I matched his lollipop to the Eric Carle lollipop- you can see it on Phoenix's shirt. The kids picked out all of the colors for this image, and i think they did a great job!
That's my sister Monica. I took this picture of the layout so that you could see the pretty blue foil circles that are on this DCWV paper. I thought it was perfect with the dotty fabric! I am now in such a mood to scrap the rest of the pics I printed from this little bash. So you may be seeing some more layouts (hopefully!) soon. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Dilly Beaners on the DT Blog, and give 'em some love. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
