Greetings! It's Friday so it's time for a new challenge at Dilly Beans. This week, we want you to use an inspirational quote on your project. Since we just went on our road trip, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to start scrapbooking the many photos I took.
I really love Megan's turtles. I love all the pretty details she adds to their shells. And of course, this turtle was perfect for these photos of my kidlings.
I used watercolors to paint the image. It was nice to play with something other than markers. The piece behind the turtle was done with the Stone Wall from Dreamweaver Stencils. I also used their black embossing paste and 2 of their Metallic F/X to get this look.
My inspirational quote reads, "Try to be like the turtle- at ease in your own shell," by Bill Copeland. I love this quote! It's what I try to teach my children. So I hope you will play along with us this week. Please be sure to visit the Dilly Beans Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT has come up with. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
