Happy Friday! I for one, am thrilled that it's Friday. My husband has been away on business since early Monday morning, and I cannot wait for him to come back home tonight! I have a brand new Dilly Beans challenge to share with you today. The theme this week is "Thanks." I have a lot of people in my life that need to be thanked lately...and for that fact alone, I am grateful.
I made this card for someone very special...but I don't want to say who it is in case she hasn't gotten it yet. I did something very different for my card today. Can you figure out what it is?
I colored her blonde! I hardly ever do that. I figured it was time to push some boundaries. Plus, my recipient recently went blonde, so I thought it was appropriate. I colored Chloe Bell Framed (#454) completely with watercolors.
My sentiment is also from Dilly Beans. I liked combining all of the different patterned papers. This was a fun (and easy!) layout to do. I think I will do it again soon, but perhaps with some more layers. I am entering this card into the latest Altered Alice challenge. which is Gratitude. She kinda looks like Alice, no? Now it's time for you to visit the rest of the Dilly Beans gals over at the Challenge Blog. The girls really cooked up some beautiful projects this week. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
