Hello! Today I am sharing a really fun shaker card with Cotton Candy Sparkle Blends from Doodle Paper Playground. I just bought the whole "How You Bean?" set from Lawn Fawn, specifically to use with the many Sparkle Blends I have in my stash. I typically prefer bright, bold colors...but there's something so fabulous about the Cotton Candy Sparkle Blend. Yup, it's definitely super sweet, but it's also opalescent and shiny. It's one of my favorite Sparkle Blends. Also inside the jar are a few stars that come with the How You Bean Add On Die set, and I stamped faces on a few of them, which I think makes the shaker even more joyful. My background was created with a leftover piece of watercolor paper that had been dipped in in Distress Oxide Inks. Then I stenciled the Waves and Dots stencil with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide.   In the photo above, you can see all of the tiny elements that make up this particular Sparkle Blend. Hello and welcome back! Today I have a really fun shaker car using the Green with Envy Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground and lots of adorable Lawn Fawn. My plan was to create a little scene with the critters. I wanted to have the shaker be part of the grass, so this Sparkle Blend was perfect. These guys clearly like to spend a lot of time together!  The shaker was actually the first thing I created for the card, as I wasn't quite sure how everything else was going to fall into place. I used an older die from Stampendous to cut the grass at the top of my shaker, and used 3 layers of paper, and lots of foam tape to complete it. For the window, I just used an X-Acto Knife to cut out a couple of rectangles for the top 2 layers. Greetings! Today marks the beginning of a new challenge with Aurora Wings ! For this go-round, we challenge you to make a project for a "Joyous Occasion." It can be anything....graduation, a birthday, Christmas, etc. I chose to make a Christmas card, because why not get a jump on things? ;) My card features Little Christmas Tree, from the Sprite collection. You can find him on the Aurora Wings site HERE , and in the Etsy Shop HERE . Now, let's take a look at this cutie. I colored the Little Christmas Tree Sprite with Zig Clean Color Markers. I liked how this tree looks like it is made out of fabric, as if the Sprite is wearing a costume. So I colored the tree itself kind of flat, and not with a lot of definition so that I could mimic fabric a bit. The ornaments were colored with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen. Hello! Or should I say, " Botanic Hello ?" That's the name of the beautiful (and BIG) stamp from Mama Elephant I used today to show off some stunning sequins from Doodles Paper Playground . I chose to work with the Flaming Sunset Sparkle Blends for this card. The colors and styles of sequins in this pack are so unique and bold. I also decided to use a few of the flowers from the Flower Power Sparkle Blend, which is full of nothing but beautiful and bright floral sequins. It's a real beauty! I first stamped out my image and colored it with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. To make the "hello" pop, I used a glitter pen from Sakura. Then I gave the image a loose fussy cut, leaving a thin white border around it. Next I chose 2 green pieces of cardstock to add behind my colored image. Greetings! Welcome to the May Get Kids Crafty Blog Hop! This month, we had our kiddos create projects in the theme of "Gardening." You're in for a real treat. My family loves to garden, and I have a ton of gardening/floral stamps, so my daughter was really excited to pick through what I have and create a card that she gave to my mom for Mother's Day. Miss R decided to work with the Garden Boots stamp set from Stampendous . She stamped a ton of images on to white paper first with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink from Imagine , then she colored them all with Memento Markers , also from Imagine. They are her absolute favorite markers, and she uses them a lot. Next, Miss R painstakingly fussy cut all of her colored images and played around with the placement of them. She chose some colored paper, knowing that she wanted to use several layers. She chose to ink her card base up, since she couldn't find the exact shade of green she wanted in paper. Hello Friends! This week, the Stampendous Design Team is sharing projects that use the new Sassy City Perfectly Clear Stamp Set . This set is filled with pretty silhouette stamps that make whipping up a quick card very simple. I made this one in about 10 minutes! My full instructions are below. Supplies: Stampendous : SSC1279 : Sassy City Other : My Colors Cardstock: Sky Imagine: VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne Artist's Loft: Watercolor Paper, Watercolors Scrapbook Adhesives: E-Z Runner Directions: 1. On a piece of watercolor paper, loosely paint a sky and grass using 2 shades of blue and 2 shades of green. 2. Let dry. 3. Stamp the park scene on to the watercolor paper using Nocturne Ink. 4.
