Hello! Thanks to many of you that reached out yesterday with kind words about the loss of our cat. It is much appreciated. Today I have a card that features the Cheeky Fairy digi from The Greeting Farm. I've had her for a long time and I love using her. I colored her in September for The Daily Marker's 30 Day Coloring Challenge, so I am happy I am getting to use her now. She was colored on Mixed Media Paper with Zig Clean Color Markers. I dug out a really old foam stamp of a bat from Heidi Swapp and stamped it several times with Black Shimmer Delicata ink on my Kraft card base. Then I added droplets of Sheer Shimmer Spritz in Gold, plus irRESISTable Spray in Love Letter and Tuxedo Black. I think the fairy is afraid of those bats. 2 posts in one day?! See what happens after I'm sick for a week? I have a lot to catch up on! Today is March 10th, so we have the second challenge with Movie Magic Monthly . And I am uber excited about it...because our challenge for the month is The Twilight Saga! For any of you that have been with me from the very beginning of my blog writing, then you know it was Twilight that started it all.  The first DT I was on was Twilight Tuesday, and I have made many friends through that group, like my fellow MMM DT'er, Laura! For my card, I used a couple of images from The Greeting Farm . Images I used quite a bit during those Twilight Tuesday Days. I didn't use the typical red/black/white color palate for my card. I felt like going a different route. Though I will say, I will definitely use those colors for the next project I make for this challenge. I used alcohol markers to color Bella and Edward in. A few posts ago, I shared with you my Easter card for Phoenix. Click HERE if you missed it. Thankfully, I had the girl version of Easter Ian from The Greeting Farm , so I decided to use her (Easter Anya) for my little Rhiannon. I used the latest Mojo Monday Sketch for the layout of my card. She's so cute! I tried to color her hair similarly to Rhiannon's. And I needed to make the card purple and pink, since those are her 2 favorite colors. She is such a girl! I had my tag team marker session, as usual...watercolor markers and Copics. I think Rhi is going to love her. In fact, I think she will gasp and say, "Mommy! It's so boo-iful! Did you make this for me???" Guaranteed. Of course, I added some rhinestones. There was no way I could give Phoenix rhinestones and not Rhiannon.    I liked this sketch. Howdy Partners! It is the 3rd day of the Relay with the Greeting Farm , and I am so happy that I’ve gotten to this point! I have put some of my other projects aside to get it done… but I am really trying to finish everything on my plate! Come and meet baby Toby! My friend Tori just had a baby girl. Her name is Charlotte (I know… Charlotte was from yesterday…but, she wasn’t exactly good for a baby car ya know?). So, I thought this little bear was perfect for her! I had this nice big “C” from which I thought was perfect. The patterned paper is from Imaginisce. I colored Toby in using my Spectracolor pencils. I sure am getting to use them a lot lately and it is fabulous! They had been neglected for so long, it feels great to have them out again! I was thinking of adding a couple of jewels or pearls to this card… to embellish it a bit further. But, I’m on the fence about it. I kinda like the simplicity of it. I mean, it’s a baby card… it shouldn’t be too overdone should it? Wha...

This post is all about Day 2 of The Greeting Farm’s Relay. Today, I bring you Charlotte. She is super sassy! I was a bit wary of her at first… I knew what I wanted to do… but wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. I had never done such a dark complexion before, and I didn’t want to screw it up. I think she turned out just fine though! Here’s a closeup…of course, you can click on any of my images to see them bigger too! The stamp I used (which totally makes this card!) says “Oh Snap!” it’s from Bam Pop! and I love them! I thought that that sentiment was purr-fect for Charlotte! Ok! So I’m off to give the kiddies breakfast now!

Hey out there! Yes, I am posting on a Sunday… weird, I know, but there is just way to many things going on, so I needed to get this new card up! The Greeting Farm is having this way cool Relay going on. You can go over to their site and download a free digi, and then, if you complete the requirements, you can score up to 5 free digis this week!!! All the deets are on their site. How cool is that? So, I got my butt in gear and used digi #1. His name is Mer Ian, and I just love him! Ain’t he cute? I kept the card simple, I wanted to highlight the coloring I did on Ian. I used my Spectracolor pencils, and I think he came out great! I was channeling my inner Donna…and I think it worked! I just had to add some Stickles, and a couple of baby pearls (thanks Terra!), plus of course some pop dots to give the card some nice dimension. And here is a close up of my coloring. Happy Tuesday! Just a couple more days until New Moon is theatres!!! Are you as excited as I am??? There are a TON of awesome things happening over at Twilight Tuesday . If you’re a Twi-fan… them you are going to LOVE what’s coming up! But first, this week’s challenge… thought up by sweet Eve. She asked us to create a monochromatic card using a Twilight inspired color. I actually thought that this was a pretty tough challenge for me. I never work monochromatically. I love mixing colors together way too much! But I’ve gotta say, it really came together quite nicely! Here’s my card: I had colored this fantabulous digi (Yes folks, I have tip-toed in to the digi world. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone I’m here!!!) from The Greeting Farm last week. I saw him and just HAD to color him! I mixed my own pearly paint using acrylic (Ceramcoat) and shimmer powder (Jacquard). The consistency of the paint is a little off, but I’m working on fixing it. Woah! 2 posts in one day??? I think that’s happened only 1 other time! If you didn’t see my first post for today, please scroll down and check it out!!! So, I’m in love with The Greeting Farm . I love the “Sprouts.” They are adorable! Which is so weird… I don’t o adorable. It’s just not really my thing. I like creepy and weird. Cute? Not so much. I’d rather see other people tackle cute. But TGF has won me over, and there ain’t no goin’ back! This little guy really inspired me. As soon as I saw him, I knew what I wanted to do. No challenges involved, just me and my mind. And, it came out exactly how I wanted it to! I really wanted the “Relax” to be soft and barely there… which I think I achieved! I wanted the colors to all be quiet and serene, except for his wild hair! Oh, little Jasper is colored in using colored pencils. I live all the options you have with them. You can layer and blend, or let the tooth of the paper show through as I did with his hair. I thought it added to the wi...

So I am participating in my very first swap. Of course, it is Twilight related. My friend (and I am proud to say she’s my friend) Tia is hosting this swap on Split Coast Stampers. I’m taking part in a couple of the categories. The first of which is “tags.” They’re supposed to be 3x3, but I just had to use my little Edward stamp again so the tags need to be a little bigger than 3”. Here’s my little creation: I also used stamps from Artful INKables …just can’t get enough of those either! I colored Edward in using my EK markers, except for his skin, which I used a pearlized hard pastel. It’s hard to see in a photo. And his eyes are sparkly because I used Sakura’s Jelly Roll Stardust pen in a topaz color. A little bit ‘o Stickles, some layering and ta-da! A cute little tag that I hope whatever swappers receive it, will enjoy.

Ok, so I’m sure that many of you had seen the card I made for the extra TTIC challenge last week. If not, then go to last Wednesday’s blog to check it out! I had mentioned that I had already colored in another Edward image from The Greeting Farm that I also wanted to use in a card. Well, I finally got a chance to finish it this weekend. Here he is! Excuse the shadow. It’s dark out now, and I just wanted to get this post up… so I had to take the photo in crummy light. But ain’t he cute??? Here’s a close up. See those numbers? Those are the pencil color’s identifying numbers for his hair. I didn’t want to forget which I used, and I am a huge Paint Chip fanatic (you should see some of the cards I made with Paint Chips! Hmmmm, another blog post for another day), so I decided to actually attach the colors to the card! This way, I’ll always know what I used! I had planned on keeping this one anyway. Ooh! I am so excited about this! Twilight Tuesday is thrilled to announce that we are collaborating with The Greeting Farm ! Have you seen their ADORABLE stamps??? Now, I’ll be honest, I’m not usually a fan of super cutsie things.. but this company has won me over! Margie (one of the TTIC designers) introduced me to this company (via her blog) a short time ago. She had featured her Anya stamps, and gave us a peek at a super fantastic little Edward stamp! I fell in love with him! He was so great! Well, needless to say, I now am a proud owner of the little Edward (thanks so much Marie!). So, we now give you a special Twilight Tuesday Challenge! We were to create something using The Greeting Farm’s Edward and by using the colors black, red and white (or silver).
