Singing Angel

Holiday greetings! This week, the Stampendous team is sharing inspirational projects. Angels, nativities, doves, churches, etc. My card today features the Singing Angel stamp, as well as some of the dies from the Build a Wreath die set.

Supplies:

DCP1007: Build A Wreath Die Set
EP175: Jeweled Gold Sparkly Embossing Powder
SSC1231: Holiday Expressions
MPW811: Mixed Media Paper
VM001: Versamark Ink
STF082: Onyx Black Versafine Ink

Others:
My Colors Cardstock: Mint Julep, Goldenrod, Evergreen
Tombow Dual Brush Markers: 850, 990, 942, 126, 158, 177, 977, 947, 969, 885, 856, 025, 055, 062, 772, N89
Creative Impressions: 70981: Gold Velvet Shimmer Ribbon
Imagine Crafts: Golden Glitz Delicata Ink
Beacon Adhesives: Zip Dry Glue
Unknown: Small red scrap paper

Directions:
1. Stamp image on to Mixed Media Paper with Onyx Black Versafine ink. Color with Tombow markers as listed above. Fussy cut the image.

2. Using the Build a Wreath set, die cut the 3 largest circles. The biggest with Goldenrod, the Medium with Evergreen, and the smallest with a red. I had a scrap piece that matched the red markers perfectly. Ink all 3 circles with Golden Shimmer Delicata Ink.

3. For the card base, cut a piece of Mint Julep to 5 1/2" x 8" and fold. Ink 2 edges with Versamark, sprinkle Jeweled Gold powder on top and heat. Repeat with the other 2 sides. Stamp a sentiment from the Holiday Expressions set using Versafine ink in the lower left corner. Cut 2 small pieces of Gold Velvet Shimmer Ribbon, one side straight, the other side at an angle. I angled my ribbons opposite of each other.

4. Glue all the paper layers, the Angel and the ribbon to the card base using Zip Dry Glue.

Below are the rest of the gals posting today. Please be sure to pop over and give them some love. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Mediterranean Dreams Shaker

Hello! Today I have a card that features the Mediterranean Dreams Subscription Kit from White Rose Crafts.  This fabulous Subscription Kit brings together sparkling, azure Mediterranean seas, sun-bleached shores and the rich colors of vibrant Mediterranean cultures in a carefully curated kit. I knew I just had to try the Jillibean Soup shaker card and I chose to use one of the stamps (from Kaisercraft) to make my background. I stamped the seashell with Tea Dye Distress Oxide all over the background of the card. Then I applied some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide to my craft mat, spritzed it with some water, and splattered it on to my card base. Last, I inked the edges with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide with a Mini Blending Brush. For my sentiment, I die cut a stitched rectangle from my stash, out of the pearly yellow cardstock that came in the kit and stamped it with "Wish You Were Here" stamp from the same "Summer Splash" stamp set, with StazOn Pigment ink. Echo Park Blog Hop with Imagine

Greetings! This is my second post for the day. This one is not part of the 31 Days of Halloween, but rather a super-duper blog hop that the Artists in Residence for Imagine are doing with Echo Park . So if you're here for my Day 7 project, please check out the post HERE . But before you do that, scroll on to check out this one. There are prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check out the Imagine Blog as well as the Echo Park Blogs for details. I created my background by applying Dandelion and Tangelo Memento Ink to my brayer. Then I sprayed it with Ink Potion No. 9 to help the colors blend and to act as an extender to keep the inks wet longer. After I rolled the colors out on to watercolor paper and let it dry, I stamped the lovely doily-like image from Echo Park's Simply Sweet Stamp Set with Grape Jelly Memento. I also received the super pretty Heart Doily Designer Die  which I used with a true purple cardstock. But it needed something....and in rolls the super fabul...
