I was very
happy to find out that we were going to do a collaboration with CAS-ual
Fridays, and as soon as my goodies came, I made this project right away. There are prizes to be won, and all of the details can be found on the Imagine Crafts Blog and on the CAS-ual Friday Blog. This is a HUGE hop, so sit back, relax, and enjoy all of the crafty goodness!

Directions:
1. On watercolor paper, stamp the large flowers
from the Wonderful Words stamp set with VersaMark and emboss with clear
embossing powder. Repeat steps with the smaller flower.
2. Spray
the embossed watercolor paper with Eucalyptus, Terra Cotta, and Java Walnut
Inks. Don’t go too heavy with the coverage. You want to be able to see the
different colors. Rub the paper with a paper towel while the sprays are still
wet to slightly blend the colors and remove the spray from the embossed areas.
1. 3. Using a sentiment from the same stamp
set, stamp it on to cream cardstock using Vintage Sepia VersaFine ink. Die cut
the sentiment using the small “H” Fitted Frame.
Ink the edges with VersaMagic in Tea Leaves, and then ink a smaller
border with Spanish Moss VersaFine.
4. Once the ink is dried, go over the
sentiment with Original Goosebumps with the dauber top to give the piece some
sheen and texture. I gave it 2 coats.
5. Using the Tea Leaves and Spanish Moss
inks again, ink the edges of the card base. Wrap the mat originally made with
Divine Twine, and tie a knot. Adhere all layers together using Zip Dry Glue.

Hadn't thought about using the paper towel
to blend the colors. Have to give it a
try.
