Darque Obsession

Hello my Lovelies! Welcome to a spectacular release! My fang-tastic friend Tonya is releasing her very first set of digital stamps! And it is SOOOO up my alley ali! ;}

darqueobsession

How friggin’ amazing are these chicks??? Yes Tonya, I am obsessed. I can do SO much with these images! You should all know by now how crazy I am for all things Vamp… this is no exception! Wanna see what I made with “The Seductress”?

Seductress1

What do you think? I think she’s gorgeous! I NEED to have that dress (even my husband says so!)! I know, ya need a close up right?

Seductress2

She is of course colored in with my colored pencils. And I added Burgundy Stickles to her crosses, and some touches of my Sakura pens. Please click on any of the images to see them bigger.

Seductress5

Here you can see the glimmer from the gel pens. I tried something different with her hair. I wanted it blue black obviously, like I’ve seen some folks do with Copics. I struggled a bit with this. I like how it came out, but it wasn’t what I was after. Any suggestions?

Seductress4

When I was younger (like, 12) I was totally into decorating t-shirts. It was my thing, ya know? I lived for it. So I had/have a bajillion rhinestones from way back then… And I thought the card needed some pop… but wasn’t sure of what. So I remembered of the huge rhinestone box that I have been stowing away for the past 2 decades (that sounds SO weird to me! Am I really that old???), and decided to bust that bitch out! Enter the super huge rhinestones. Seriously, that oval one is the size of a quarter! But I think it was just what the Doctor ordered!

I Glimmer Misted the background, added some cool paper, and a loop of picot ribbon. Ooh! And let’s not forget those fab Kaiser pearls in black!

So, are you into it??? Can you handle this??? Don’t you want to color her in??? You can of course, only get these sinfully beautiful images at Tonya’s shop. Click HERE to go straight to these gorgeous creatures. You can also visit Tonya’s blog to see more creations with these fabulous new digis.

I love them because they are so different from what’s out there. And again, they are totally my style! I will be coloring them all in many times over, I assure you! And yes, you will get to see all of my many versions! So if you’re not already… come and get Obsessed with the rest of us!

You don't need ANY advice on that blue-black hair! YOU ROCKED IT! (but, I'm no pencil expert so I have no idea if this works.. maybe try a blue with a gray overlay?) I love that you always come up with cool stuff to do on your cards! I can't wait to see more from you on these! Thank you for showcasing for me!

Echo Park Blog Hop with Imagine

Greetings! This is my second post for the day. This one is not part of the 31 Days of Halloween, but rather a super-duper blog hop that the Artists in Residence for Imagine are doing with Echo Park . So if you're here for my Day 7 project, please check out the post HERE . But before you do that, scroll on to check out this one. There are prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check out the Imagine Blog as well as the Echo Park Blogs for details. I created my background by applying Dandelion and Tangelo Memento Ink to my brayer. Then I sprayed it with Ink Potion No. 9 to help the colors blend and to act as an extender to keep the inks wet longer. After I rolled the colors out on to watercolor paper and let it dry, I stamped the lovely doily-like image from Echo Park's Simply Sweet Stamp Set with Grape Jelly Memento. I also received the super pretty Heart Doily Designer Die  which I used with a true purple cardstock. But it needed something....and in rolls the super fabul...
