Greetings! I am excited to share my project with you today. The Artists in Residence were challenged to share projects with the theme "Wet." In addition, we had the fantastic opportunity to collaborate with Stencil Girl , which is always so much fun. I decided to combine the collaboration with our theme to create a fun card. I started off by using the Whimsical Waves stencil.It works with our "Wet" theme (though I've got more "wet" coming up!) I flipped it over to the back and inked it up with Rose Bud, Grape Jelly, and Teal Zeal Memento Ink. Be sure to cover the entire stencil. Scraps can always be used later! Next, I spritzed the stencil thoroughly with Sheer Shimmer Frost (see....more wet!). This allows the colors to blend while adding a beautiful shimmer to the ink. Hello! This month, the Imagine team was challenged to make projects that included white, and/or Shimmer & Sparkle, so for this card I decided to go with both. Here's how to make it. Supplies: Imagine : Delicata Inkpads and Refills: Golden Glitz, Shimmery Silver Craft Mat Ink Potion No. 9 StazOn : Jet Black Amplify! : White irRESISTable : Pico Embellisher in Tuxedo Black & Wedding Dress Palette Knife Other : Spellbinders : Seth Apter Embossing Fold'er Gridiron Black and White cardstock Recollections: Brayer Stencil Girl : Urban Insiders Start Stencil Beacon Adhesives: Zip Dry Glue Directions: 1. Using the Golden Glitz and Shimmery Silver refill inks, squirt some of each on to your Craft Mat. 2. Sprtiz with Ink Potion No. 9 to help keep the inks wet, and to get them to move easier. 3. Using a brayer, roll and blend the colors together, covering the roller. Do not over mix the colors. 4. Roll the brayer over smooth black cardstock. I us...

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . Hello! I am super stoked to share my latest ATC for Wicked Wednesday with you. This week, our theme is "Head Shots," and we are sponsored by The East Wind . I used Apple Seed for my ATC, and I LOVED coloring it. I used my Tombow watercolor markers to color this stunning image. And I really just needed to do a green apple instead of a red one. For my background, I used a cool stencil from Stencil girl, and faaaaaaabulous Spoonful of Midnight (from Stampendous) in the corners. Happy Friday! It's time for a new Dilly Beans challenge, and SUMMER VACATION!!!! I am so excited that the kids are officially both done with school for the year! So I'll make this short and sweet so I can go and hang with my kidlings. As I mentioned, this week's challenge is Citrus Colors. I made a tag. I used Heart Monster 1 #273 . I think he is just so cute! I wanted to enter this month's Dreamweaver Stencils challenge again too, so I not only used their Damask stencil, but to fit into their challenge, I used THIS Design Seeds palette (found on Pinterest) as my inspiration. I colored the Monster with my Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. The background stencils (Stencil Girl and Crafter's Workshop) with Distress Inks, and the Damask stencil with black Embossing Paste (also from Dreamweaver). Greetings! Today  I have two projects to share with you, both featuring digis from A Day for Daisies . I LOVE their digis. I have said it before, and I'll say it again. They are by far, one of my most favorite stamp companies ever. I adore these images. And, since I was the very lucky winner of their last challenge (YAY!!!), I won a few images. The first project is a card that is for the newest ADFD challenge . The challenge is to "Use Newsprint." I used  the new Aloha Blooms image, and paired it with a sentiment from Ginger's House . Oh, I just love her. I had a fun time coloring her...I experimented with some new combinations of skin tones. I worked with alcohol markers and watercolor markers, plus, the background was done in watercolors. I also played with a brand new stencil that I got from Stencil Girl . It's called "Web" and I love it. I used 3 colors of ink (applied via stencil brush), ad then embossed it with clear powder. Sorry that...
