September Bombshell Muse Monday: Madonna Woodcut

Hello! It's the first Monday of the month, so I have a new Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday to share with you. I chose the Madonna Woodcut set to be featured this month by the team. Have you seen it? Check it out. I decided to work with some of the smaller images in the set. I colored all of the images with my colored pencils. Everything was fussy cut, except for the swirl stamp which was stamped directly on to my gold cardstock. Remember, each week, different members of the Bombshell team will be sharing projects fearing this set. So please check it out! Visit the Bombshell Blog to see them all. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Bombshell Muse Monday and DICC #78

Happy June! I have 2 projects to share with you today. The first is for this month's Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday, and the second is for Desert Islands Crafters Challenge . This month, the Muse Monday set is Homeward Bound. This is a set I was a bit wary about, until I started to use it. I quickly fell in love with it, and it's now one of my favorites. I decided to go in a new direction and have the ship sailing in the rain. I purposely did not ink up the sun, to add to the bit of gloom I was trying to achieve. I used a lot of grays and some creams to mute down the colors. It was all colored with alcohol markers. I also clear embossed rain drops on top of the ship, as well as on my background by using the Rain stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils . The chain is from the Homeward Bound set as well. The set has several smaller images that are so fantastic. It's one of the reasons I love to use it. My fabulous ribbon is from May Arts . I didn't glue it down too...

May Muse Monday: Girl's Ruin

Hello out there! It's the first Monday of the month, so that means I get to share with you the first installment of this month's Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday. I decided to go with Girl's Ruin this time. This is a fun and flirty set, and is perfect for any gal that loves shoes! I love coloring that shoe in many different ways. Here's what I came up with this time. I went for my 2 favorite colors...teal and purple. I often glitter up the shoe, at least a little...so it was tough for me to do something different. Isn't it just screaming for glitter??? I may have to play along with Muse Monday again this month just to use some glitter! I'd like to point out that I colored her legs with the same skin tones I used on the rest of her rockin' bod. Then I colored her stockings. I wanted it to look like they were semi-sheer, and that's the best way to do it in my opinion. The image was colored with Spectrum Noirs. Please go and check out some oth...

April Muse Monday: Man's Ruin

Hello hello! It's the first Monday of the month, so that means it is time for me to share the newest Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday. I chose Man's Ruin , which is such a fun set to work with. The best thing is that it's on sale for the whole month! I colored the main image from Man's Ruin with my colored pencils. Here's a closer look. I really enjoy this stamp. She is so much fun to color, and she's easy to work with. Head on over to the Bombshell Blog today, and every Monday to see lots of great projects featuring this set. Thanks for stopping by. March Bombshell Muse Monday: Lotus Garden

Hello out there! It's the first Monday of March, so it's time for me to share this month's Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday. I chose Lotus Garden for the DT to highlight. You are sure to see some beautiful and tranquil pieces throughout the month. Plus the Lotus Garden set will be on sale for the entire month! Isn't it pretty? I decided to make a pendant using 3 of the images from the set. I used Shrinky Dinks for my images, and I colored them with pencils. I love how vibrant the colors look after the images have been shrunk. I added a few enameled pieces to add to the watery feel I was going for. Please be sure to visit the Bombshell Blog to see more fun projects using the Lotus Garden set. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Muse Monday: Sugar Daddy -Week 2

Hello out there! I switched things up a little and I am posting my Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday during Week 2, instead of Week 1. This month, we are featuring the Sugar Daddy set. Check this guy out! Isn't he a slickster? I can't tell if he's friend or foe. What do you think? I colored him with alcohol markers and colored pencils. Sometimes 1 on top of the other. Like o his pants, for example. Spectrum Noir first, followed by colored pencil. I like the look of that. I embossed my background with a Fiskars plate. I thought the brick wall was perfect. Do you have this set yet? Do you want it? Then get it in February, because it's on sale! And be sure to visit the Bombshell Blog each Monday to see more fun projects featuring the Sugar Daddy set. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

January Muse Monday: Rose's Portrait

Greetings! It's the first Monday of the month, so that means I get to share the latest Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday set with you. I chose to highlight Rose's Portrait this time around. I decided to make a tile. I haven't made one lately, and this set lends it so well to the 4x4 square that I use. I stamped my images on tissue paper, and very carefully colored them with alcohol markers.I think Rose looks so pretty with bright green eyes.                                          Then I just layer up the tile and images with Mod Podge and a sealer by Krylon. I also added a hook to the back to so it can be hung on the wall. The Rose's Portrait set will be on sale for the entire month of January! SO if you don't own it yet, this is definitely the time to get it. Please be sure to visit the Bombshell Blog each Monday for lots of wonderful projects featuring this set. ...

December Muse Monday: Speed Shop

Hello, friends! It's the first the Monday of the month, so that means it's time for the 1st installment of this month's Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday. For December, we are showcasing Speed Shop . I made a vintage styled tag. As you can see, I used 3 different images from the Speed Shop set. I inked the tag and focal image up with Distress Ink, I used some patina colored embossing powder, as well as Pirate's Gold powder for the crown. Remember, for the month of December, Speed Shop will be on sale, so this is a great time to pick up this fun set! Please be sure to visit the Bombshell Blog every Monday to see what some of my other teammates have created. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Bombshell November Muse Monday: Indian Princess

It's the first Monday of the month, so it's time for me to share with you this month's Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday set! This month, I chose to feature Indian Princess. I thought it was appropriate. I was really digging the paper I used for Shannon's Birthday card the other day, so I decided to use it again. And I also colored my image with Distress Inks, as I did the other day. Her face is a little too blotchy. Not sure why, but it's not as smooth as I can usually get it. I sprayed my huge Leafless Tree from Dreamweaver Stencils for my background. A couple of spritzes if a color wash ink, and that's it. Remember, the Indian Princess set is on sale for the entire month of November, so be sure to get yours! Please visit the Bombshell Blog today and every Monday to see what some of the other gals have created with this cool set. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Day 7 of 31: Alter Skulls ATC

Wow! One week down already?! That's the only part of the 31 Days of Halloween that I dislike. It's the counting. It makes the month go so fast for me. I'd like to thank everyone that gave me such wonderful suggestions on yesterday's slate. When I finish it off, I will post a new pic. For today's offering, I have an ATC that was made with Alter Skulls from Bombshell Stamps . Alter Skulls is this month's featured set for Muse Monday, so that means it's on sale! This set is just perfect for the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween. I colored this awesome image with my Spectrum Noir markers. I wanted to play along with this week's Wicked Wednesday challenge, which is voodoo dolls or stitching. So I faux stitched around the edge of my ATC. I really didn't want to do too much to my background, since the image has so much going on. Of course, you should be off to check out the rest of the fabulous Wicked Bloggers, but you should also swing...

June Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday: Mermaid Anchor

Greetings! It's the first Monday of the month, so that means it's time for me to share the newest Muse Monday for Bombshell Stamps with you. Are you familiar with Muse Monday? Each month, I choose a set of Bombshell Stamps that I want the fabulous Design Team to work with. Each Monday, at least 2 team members will share projects with you using that featured set. Plus, that set will be on sale for the entire month! For June, I wanted to work with Mermaid Anchor . It's a fairly new set for me in my collection, but since I have gotten it...I have used it quite a number of times. I am really enjoying working with it. I made a mini page (6x6 layout). I am quickly falling in love with making these babies. I colored my images with my Green, Pale Hues and Cool Gray sets from Spectrum Noir. I was in a green mood today.....wasn't planning on doing a monochromatic page...but it worked out that way. Seems like I am working with unusual colors (or the lack there of) lately....

Muse Monday: Week 4- Ahoy Sailor

Hello! It's Week 4 for Muse Monday over at Bombshell Stamps. I have been enjoying this month's featured set, which is Ahoy Sailor , so much, that I wanted to play again. Did you know, that you could snag the featured set on sale??? You better hurry! The month is almost up...which means a new set will be on sale in June! I decided to make a tag. I also decided to play along with Ms. May's Pin-up challenge! You can check out that post HERE . I used a faaaaaabulous embossing folder on my tag, and then some gold rubby stuff to highlight the embossed areas. I used 2 Spellbinders dies for the anchor and mat. The rest is pretty obvious. :) I hope you've liked my tag. Please be sure to stop by the Bombshell Blog to see what else has been created for Muse Monday. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Bombshell's May Sketch and Muse Monday

Greetings! I have 2 Bombshell projects to share with you today. The first is the Sketch Challenge for May. I used one of the newest (for me) sets, Growing Hearts. I had a good time coloring this image. Isn't it fun to get new stamp sets? I colored the woman and my banner with my watercolor markers. She looks so serene. I also used one of the banners from Banner Sayings and the sentiment if from Rose's Portrait.   Did you know that Banner Sayings is on sale right now? It is a wonderful set...for more than just Bombshells! On to Muse Monday. This month, I chose to have the Design Team work with Ahoy Sailor . Another new to me set. I decided to make a tag. My mom loves this set, so I think I will give her this tag, and make her a few more things for her. She is colored with watercolor and alcohol markers, and I inked a bit of blue and Pumice Stone (Distress Ink) on top of the image. For the tag itself, I stamped the small icons from the Ahoy Sailor set with em...

Of course, my focal image is from Sweet Pea Stamps. The name of it is Exotic Halloween, and I LOVE this image. I colored it with colored pencils. My sentiment is from Inkadinkado. She's so cool. I have missed using my pencils. But she really needed to be colored with them instead of markers.  And this is what  made for Muse Monday over at Bombshell Stamps .  I decided to go for a super...

A Little Bit 'o Love

Hello Friends! I have a new Bombshell Stamps Muse Monday project to share with you, and an art journal page. As you may recall, this month at Bombshell, I decided to highlight the All My Heart set. It just so happens that the latest Wicked Wednesday challenge is Celebrate the Season, and I thought I could make an ATC for the challenge with this set. I've only got one picture, as my camera decided it didn't feel like focusing. I've used 3 images from this set, plus a blank banner from Banner Sayings . I thought it would be interesting to stamp text on text, so I gave it a shot. I think the fact that I had the text facing 2 different directions made it work.  I may just be startin' to get the hang of making these ATC's! I also wanted to play along with Just Some Lines this week. The theme is "Love." But I didn't want to do a typical love project dealing with 2 people.....I wanted to art journal about my love of books. I think this image is ...
