Greetings! It's time for Day 23 of the 31 Days of Halloween. Today, I am sharing a card that uses a beautiful moon stamp from Altenew , and a fabulous tree stencil from Stampendous. I started off by stamping the layers of the moon on to my white cardstock. I used Cement VersaColor , London Fog Memento , and Gray Flannel Memento ; all from Imagine. I then cut out a mask of the moon and temporarily adhered it directly on top of the stamped moon. Using Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet, and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides, I inked the entire background with my Ink Blending Tools. Next I took the Bare Trees Stencil and I sprayed it thoroughly with Sheer Shimmer Frost. I felt that it didn't have quite the effect that I wanted because it was light, so I then sprayed the stencil again with Tuxedo Black Fireworks! Spray . I verrrrrry carefully placed the stencil back down on to my cardstock and let it sit for a minute. I really liked the end result this time, as some of...

I love crows and ravens. They are magical, curious, and creepy. Some of my favorite birds, for sure. So I just had to break out my Raven stencil from Dreamweaver . I used Dreamweaver's Matte Black Embossing Paste on the raven, making it lok feathered, instead of smooth. After he dried, I cut him out. Then I played with the Stone Wall ...I love this stencil! I embossed that as well, and then inked some mossy tones on top, subtly. I used the Rain stencil and inked it in white, then embossed with clear powder. Used my fun fence punch from Martha Stewart, and the "Nevermore" sentiment from Smeared Ink's Quoth the Raven set. I stamped it on acetate and stapled it down. This card takes me to the end of my favorite movie, The Crow. The scene in the rain, when Eric Draven is fighting Top Dollar at the church. Loved that part...so much emotion in that scene. Greetings! Welcome to Day 12 of the Smeared and Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas! Can you believe that this is it? Well, I won't keep you waiting...here's my project. I had been wanting to do some sort of Santa Poe throughout this whole celebration....so I saved him for last! I used Poe from Smeared Ink's Quoth the Raven (one of my all time favorite sets from SI), as well as the fantastic wings. The hat I drew myself (rather quickly)...and shoot! I meant to add a bell or a pom pom, and I forgot. I embossed the wings with a really pretty glitter embossing powder. Wanted Mr. Poe to look a wee bit angelic. ;) I only glued the portion behind Poe, so that the wings would be raised off of the card. Here you can see the glitter better. Happy Friday! I am so happy it's Friday.....it's a 3 day weekend! I LOVE having both of my kids at home. I am really looking forward to some serious playtime with them! But first...a little business. Hello, hello! I have another Dilly Beans card to share with you today. For this, I used Teeghan's Sider Framed 2. It's one of the newer Halloween images in Megan's Shop. I kept the card pretty simple, but I like it. Lots of lovely webs, and that spider is actually pretty cute....not something I would run away screaming from! Watercolor markers and Copics are what I used to color Teeghan and her spider friend. And I used some Bedazzlers around the edge. Not sure if you can tell, but the cardstock that I used with the web punch has some glittery confetti bits, and metallic fibers running though it. It's really pretty. Now off you go! Greetings! It's Day 12 of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween. And, there is a new challenge over at Dilly Beans today as well. The challenge for this week is "Spooky Girls." If you are participating in the 31 Days, this is SUPER easy for you to do! I made this a couple of weeks ago, and I have been itching to share it with all of you. I hope you like it! Isn't she fabulous? I used "Framed Zombie Cupid- #265" I colored this image entirely with watercolor paints. And I LOVED doing it! She definitely fits the bill for this week's theme. I am SO excited! I have been asked to join the Dilly Beans Design Team ! I can't tell you how excited and honored I am to be on such a rad team. In my little world, things have been a little off-kilter lately, and this was just the boost I needed. To all of my new pals over on the Dilly Beans DT, especially Megan , the owner, thank you for having me! So for my first project since joining the team, I used Big Eye Girl #181. She is in one of Megan's fabulous frames that Dilly Beans is so known for. Isn't she great? I love the creepy-cool-cute look so many of the the Dilly Beans images have. And I am so loving the frame. It's time for another preview of the new Teen Scene Summer Fun collection from Simply B Stamps . This time, it's Lola Addams. She is always one of my favorite characters in the Teen Scene lineup to work with. She doesn't look real happy to be out in the sun. In fact, check out what she said..." See you at dusk." Ooh, I am so excited! I made a scrapbook page! It's been forever since I have had a chance to scrap, and the bug has officially bitten me again. Not that I don't always have the "itch," but now I really wanna play with my thousands of photos! I used one of my all time favorite photos of Rhiannon, the photo was taken in September of 2009, when she was almost 9 months old. And she's wearing one of my most favorite shirts that she's ever had. Look at that face!!! It's that little smile that makes every little tantrum, late night, and unfinished dinners worth it. This little smile makes my heart melt. My 12x12 layout has a lot of fun little details. I had such a good time getting inky. It's been far too long... See that pretty border? Howdy! It’s release day for Simply Betty Stamps’ Sweet Gothic Kids Halloween line! Today I will be showing you 2 of the last 3 images. This is an adorable collection, and I know it’s going to sell like mad! So let’s take a peek at my creations. First up, is Vampiress Tilly. Isn’t she fabulous? I love her look, her pose, everything about her! I colored her with my markers, and I am quite pleased with the end result. Isn’t her hair cool? I’d like you to please take a look see at my background. I was lucky enough to win 2 stencils of my choice from Dreamweaver Stencils, and one of the ones I chose was this beautiful Damask background. I knew it would be purrfect for Halloween! I used it (incorrectly…I kinda made up my own way!) with Perfect Pearls from Ranger. It came out very soft and blurry…but I really like the end result! Happy Friday! I have a short-n-not-so-sweet Smeared Ink post for you today. Why the short? Because we are the proud new owners of a puppy! After all that happened to us in the last few months, we thought that a pup would be something to really help us get through it all. Now if only she’d stop peeing in the house! ;) Why the not-so-sweet? Because I am using Ann Marie, one of the Smeared Ink Glam Vamps. I colored her using my markers and pencils. Then I took some kraft card stock and stamped the “Bite Me” from Smeared Ink’s Teen Style Sayings set. Clear embossed it. Then I took my Martha Stewart drippy stencil (originally made for decorating cupcakes), and used some Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist to make the background pop. The mist doesn’t stick to where the embossing is, which I think looks really cool. You can see the shine and glimmer from both the mist and the embossing powder here. Hello! I am so excited to share my first card as a Smeared and Smudged Design Team Member! So for this card I created a project that I have been wanting to make for a while. I’ve blogged about the main stamp once before… you can view it HERE . So take a look at what I’ve made this time around… I just love the stamp of the woman digging… so many weird creepy things can be made for her. Yeah, ok… maybe she’s gardening…but I just don’t see her doing such a mundane thing! I really want to do a whole series of cards with her. I’ve got several ideas, but I’m open to more! Got any??? That title got your attention huh? So I have had this totally awesome stamp called “Burying Evidence” from Paper Candy for quite a while now… but I never got around to using it. She’s just so cool…I need her to be used properly… for her to be given a place on a really rad card. Well, I think I did it… and now I want to do a whole series with her. What do you think??? Now that I think about it, this card could even be used for this week’s TTIC! The oh-so-pretty pink mixed with the super-gross spiders?!
