Greetings! I have a Bombshell Stamps project to share today. Ms. March, our Pin-Up for the month, shared her challenge for the month yesterday. She wants us to play Bombshell Bingo ! Visit the Bombshell Blog to see the Bingo card. Here's my project. I made a bookmark for my daughter. I used 3 images from the Butterfly Queen set. I colored them with Pentel markers and added some yellow Stickles to their bodies. Needless to say, my daughter was thrilled to receive the bookmark. She's 5, and is really trying to read. Hello! Today, I am sharing the June Bombshell Stamps Pin-Up challenge with you. Sharon Rogers (who I am on DICC with) is our lucky lady, and she decided that we need to use either vellum or transparencies for our project. I made a tag using Butterfly Queen . Now you see her wings.......................................................... Now you don't! I used watercolors on a tag, and I cut out 2 pieces of transparency to fit the tag. On the first, I stamped the wings with Staz-On. On the second, I attached my cut and colored Queen. I colored her up with my Spectrum Noirs. I put all 3 parts together with a simple brad. Hello! It’s been a long time since we’ve had a Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop…and I’ve really been itching for one. You should be coming from my friend Cheryl's blog. If not, you can start back at the Bombshell Blog …but I’ll have the full hop list at the end of my post. This hop was thought up by Ms. April, Rachael. We are to do something wedding themed…and thinking laterally is ok too (i.e.: bachelor party). I knew just what I wanted to do. Did you see my post from last Friday? It was for the latest Desert Islands Crafters Challenge, and I made a scrapbook page from my medieval wedding. So…I just had to make another one for this challenge! With all of my stamps, I am always looking for new ways to reinvent them. Giving them a fresh new look makes me feel like I have a new set of stamps to play with! I was going through my Bombshells , and I noticed that I could swap bodies around a bit. This is not a gory project- I promise! ;) To start, you need Butterfly Queen and Bombshell Angel. What we are going to do is put Angel’s head and torso on Butterfly Queen’s legs. So, you don’t need to stamp out the entire image of either. I have made two versions of this “morph,” which is why I have two of each Bombshell. Color in the skin and the hair. I used pencils for that. You will notice that on Butterfly Queen’s image on the top right I did not color in her belly. You can click on any of the images to see it bigger. Next, color the outfits. Greetings once again! Today I have a Bombshell Stamps card to share with you. I made it for Ms. February’s challenge. Ms. February is Dawn Knight , and she asked us to do a color challenge (many of you know how much I lurve those!) We have to use Red, Turquoise, and Kraft…a combination that I adore! Can I toot my own horn for a sec? I love this card. Love it. I am going to make it in a mess of different color combos…but all with the Kraft paper. Once I figured out what I wanted to do, it came together pretty quickly, so I think I can bang out a bunch of them fast. And put them in my Etsy shop, perhaps? Pencils and watercolor markers were used for this…no surprise, right? I used 2 sets of Bombshell Stamps… Butterfly Queen and Pin-Stripes. Have I told you lately how much I enjoy using those Pin-Stripes??? My husband (who honestly really likes what I make) stopped. And looked. For a while. He really liked this card. It’s been a few days, but it’s time to get back in the swing of things! I have some exciting posts coming up, including this one! Hope you enjoy one of my latest creations! You may recall the bracelet I made using Bombshell Stamps in the beginning of December. Click HERE if you missed that post. I got an amazing response from so many people that I knew I needed to make more. So I started off with the following one, and I made it for my dear friend, Alex . I used the same methods as I did for the first bracelet… Lots of Mod Podge, Staz-On, Distress Inks, and of course…my gorgeous Bombshell stamps! I thought that the Butterfly Queen set would make an awesome bracelet because There are so many images in this set that are begging for color! I think the butterflies came out so pretty, and there are so many different Distress Ink colors, the options are endless.
