Hello! I have a new A Day for Daisies project to share with you today. My kids started school today, and I always make them a card for the first day of school. Each year, I find myself using A Day for Daises images, because they're always so sweet and perfect. This year is no different.
This is the card I made for my daughter. She loves bright, bold colors, so this will be right up her alley. I used Home Lunch from ADfD, and I colored the image with my Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush.
I always tuck little notes into my children's lunches and snacks, so this image really is perfect. The die cut I used is from Stampendous' Fitted Frames Set A, and I spritzed Turquoise Mister from Deco Art on to a Tim Holtz stencil. It's nice and shimmery.
My daughter loves washi tape, so I needed to add some of that to the card too. And polka dots never hurt anyone, right? Next week, I'll be sharing the card that I made for my son, so please come back to check it out. I'll have a new Wicked Wednesday ATC tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
