Masculine/For Dad with Dilly Beans

Hello there! I have a new Dilly Beans challenge to share with you today. The new challenge is Masculine/For Dad. Here's my card.

Couldn't you see a guy with lots of ink digging this? I love the Dilly Image I used. It's Sugar Skull Framed # 416. I colored it with alcohol markers.

My background was a blast to make. I used 3 stencils from Dreamweaver Stencils to sort of re-create the flower and swirl on the Dilly image.

I used Corner Flowers for the leaves, Amsterdam Flourish, and the Lotus as my focal flower. I used Versa Fine inks from Tsukineko and a couple of inks from Color Box. I applied them with a stencil brush and daubers, and added a layer of clear embossing powder on top. I love the end result of the card. February Smeared & Smudged Sketch Challenge

The new Smeared & Smudged challenges are up and ready for you to participate in! I got instantly inspired by Kelli’s card sketch for the month, as I have been working with different ideas for my next “Tarot Card.” Haha! That’s actually pretty funny! Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again.
