Today is The Day!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is the day I get to see Edward marry Bella! Well, technically it’s tomorrow, because I will be seeing the movie at 12:15AM Friday morning (the midnight showing was sold out), but whatever! It’s here! I am SOOO excited! I can’t wait to dress up in my typical pre-mommy goth clothes and scare all of the screaming teeny boppers out of their Wolf Pack faux tattoos.

I am so excited and honored to be a part of the Pixie Dust Twilight Inspired Blog Hop. You should be coming here from Cat’s blog. If not, hop on over to the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge Blog to start from the beginning. For those of you that have been with me from the inception of my little bloggy, you will know that my friend Margie not only encouraged me to start up a blog, but to become a part of the now defunct (sniff!) Twilight Tuesday family. So I was beyond thrilled when Margie emailed me, asking if I wanted to do this hop. Of course I shouted “YES!!!” Yeah, I shouted out load to my computer.
I was able to choose 2 Twi-images from Pixie Dust. I chose Ultimate Vamp Fan and Victoria. Let’s start with the fan girl, shall we?
I think this image is so cute…and so very true to what Vamp Fan Girls are like! This is just what I will be encountering tonight. You can click on any of my photos to see them bigger.
I colored this pretty gal with my watercolor markers and 3 of the 4 Copics I own. I am soooo happy with her hair. It looks super shiny! It may be hard to tell, but her buttons and belt charm are sparkly from my Star Dust pen.
I used a mess of different papers (surprisingly, none from the Immortal Love Stack, like i had originally intended). And a sentiment from StampInsanity. Now on to Victoria!
If you remember from Twilight, Victoria was described as having leaves in her hair and being very earthy looking. I wanted to capture a bit of that here. Of course I gave her shocking red hair (again, all done with watercolor markers and 1 Copic), and a green jacket. I used a background paper with foliage on it, and kept things organic and simple.
She looks like she’s on the hunt, no? I didn’t want to do too much for this card. I wanted her to really take center stage. I did add a marquise shaped gem in the lower left corner. A girl needs at least a little bit of sparkle, doesn’t she?
There you have it! Two Pixie Dust cards, for the love of Twilight. Your next stop is to another friend of mine, Suzi. I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop. Be sure to finish off at the Pixie Dust Studio Blog. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a Twilight-y day!
