Cherry Pie Layout

I’m Officially Ms. Bombshell!!! It’s my month and I cannot begin to tell you how honored and excited I am. Although…when you start to see how many projects I’ve been creating with my gorgeous Bombshell Stamps, you may begin to understand how I feel!

As Ms. July, I needed to come up with a challenge. A challenge that YOU can participate in! And, you have the whole month to get it done! Want the scoop???

Photo-Synthesis

Time to have fun with photos! There are three ways to play along with this challenge!
For the Scrapbookers: Make a layout featuring a photo(s) that have a pin-up feel to it. Maybe it's a picture of you and your car. Or your daughter wearing some vintage clothes. Or your niece in a pin-up style pose. Of course, you'll want to use some of your fabulous Bombshell Stamps on the page!
For the Card Makers: Make a photo card! Using a photo with a vintage feel, make a card that includes your Bombshell Stamps! Some examples include: a super cool Anniversary card for your other half featuring a haute pin-up style pic of you. Maybe a sweet shot of a hot rod for that car lover in your life.
For the Altered Artist: Make a fabulous creation using photos, altered art and your Bombshell Stamps! You can make a shadowbox with car memorabilia and a Bombshell or two. You could decorate a frame covered with Bombshells that's housing a vintage photo.

Would you like to see one of my examples???

Cherry-Pie-1

It’s hard to tell, but there are cherries on the dress I’m wearing, hence the title. For this page, I used the Bombshell Angel and one of the awesome digi outfits that are available for downloading.

Cherry-Pie-2

Ain’t she sweet? I even gave her red hair in the front like mine! Please click on any of the images you’d like to see bigger.

Cherry-Pie-4

I LOVE this flame paper… I have several sheets of it since it’s so amazing. It’s foiled! It’s from EK Success, their Harley collection. I thought it was perfect for this page. Here’s why. Yeah, I’ve got flames on my car but, my car is actually blue. Not black like the paper. But, when my sister took this shot, she was using the Color Accenting feature on my fantabulous Cannon camera…so it only brought out the red in the dress and my hair. Everything else is in black and white! Here’s the photo itself so you can see it better.

If you look back at my Bombshell Blog Hop layout, you’ll see how the car really looks! Neat little trick right? Anyway, that’s why I just HAD to use this paper here!

Cherry-Pie-3

I made these little cherries real quick…just free handed them. I stapled my photo down, just to add some hardware. And I used some rad foiled letters from American Crafts.

Cherry-Pie-5

So, go on and get out your Bombshell Stamps! Join the forum if you haven’t already, and break out that camera! Let’s see those photos!!! I hope I’ve inspired you!!!

Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga
