New Moon Midnight Release Party

I’d like to start this post off by giving everyone who commented yesterday (here and on FB) a HUGE “Thank You!!!” March 21st will never be a good day for me. But, with friends like all of you (and some thoughtful relatives!), you have each made yesterday go a little bit better. I really felt the love, so THANK YOU!!!

I don’t have a project to share with you today. I came down with an evil cold yesterday (to add insult to injury!). But i really wanted you all to see what a great time I had with my sister Pam and my BF Terry.

Here we are at Walmart. Not a place I frequent by any stretch, but we just had to see what kind of merch they had!

And I figured you all (esp. Erica!) would want to see what I wore… so here is an incredible jacket Pam gave me years ago. Click on any pic to see it bigger.

Terry is not a fan of KS… can you tell???

We went to Borders next, where we picked up our flicks. There were not nearly as many people as there were for Twilight, which surprised us. Esp. considering how much better New Moon was over Twilight! At least, as far as the movies go. Ya know?

And here is Pammie and me. Pam is enjoying a Twi-inspired drink (anything to make a buck right?), and I am just giddy with anticipation!

It was a great night. And even though I wish my Twi-Girls were with us, I couldn’t imagine not doing this without Pam and Terry. Now we just have to wait for Eclipse to come out! Peace, Love and Twilight!

My Hubby went to Walmart to pick up something and won a Team Edward bottle by answering a question about New Moon!

Ahhh a shout out! You know me too well! Love the outfit! That jacket is fab! How tall are those shoes? Love the blonde in the hair! Glad you had fun. There weren't as many people as last year where I went either, but we also had a freak snow storm that evening too.

Oh I'm so envious. We had a snowstorm so I didn't venture out. I had pre-ordered it to ship...it better be in the mailbox today :-) Jacket is awesome!!!!

Thanks so much for your comment on my tutorial.... I am such an impatient crafter and when the mojo hits hate to take time out to write down everything, much less take pics, lol.

You look fabulous! Love the hair! I grabbed the dvd at Walmart. My almost 9yo wants a New Moon party for her birthday next month and I even found New Moon plates and napkins at Target! She is so excited! She wrote out a 2 page outline of what's going to happen at the party. She wrote down stuff like Bella Bacon, Jacob Juice, etc. for food! So cute!

Echo Park Blog Hop with Imagine

Greetings! This is my second post for the day. This one is not part of the 31 Days of Halloween, but rather a super-duper blog hop that the Artists in Residence for Imagine are doing with Echo Park . So if you're here for my Day 7 project, please check out the post HERE . But before you do that, scroll on to check out this one. There are prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check out the Imagine Blog as well as the Echo Park Blogs for details. I created my background by applying Dandelion and Tangelo Memento Ink to my brayer. Then I sprayed it with Ink Potion No. 9 to help the colors blend and to act as an extender to keep the inks wet longer. After I rolled the colors out on to watercolor paper and let it dry, I stamped the lovely doily-like image from Echo Park's Simply Sweet Stamp Set with Grape Jelly Memento. I also received the super pretty Heart Doily Designer Die  which I used with a true purple cardstock. But it needed something....and in rolls the super fabul...
