Smeared And Smudged Wants You!!!

Hello!!! I have some exciting news to share with you! Smeared and Smudged (the totally unique and rad DT I'm on) is looking to add some new Design Team members!!! How cool is that? Do you have a different way of looking at things when it comes to rubber stamping? Smeared Ink is looking to add 5 Design Team Members to the Smeared and Smudged team. Smeared Ink is a brand new rubber stamp company that will feature edgy, unique, wild, sometimes dark, and fun art stamps. We're looking for team members who are not afraid to think outside of the box and express themselves in interesting ways through their projects. To see some of the current DT members work, visit our forum at http://www.smearedandsmudged.ning.com/ Design Team Members art will be featured on the Smeared Ink Website, Smeared and Smudged Forum, and Smeared and Smudged Blog.Requirements for Smeared Ink Design Team Members:*You must have an active blog.*You must be or become a member of the Smeared and Smudged Forum on Ning.*You must be able to upload photos and/or scans of your projects.*DT members are required to design a minimum of four items per month, including three cards and one altered item. Two of these items must use Smeared Ink stamps exclusively. These items must be posted on the forum and your blog, and also be physically mailed in by the end of each month. The other two items can use any stamps and supplies that you like and must be posted to the forum and your blog.*Each DT member will be assigned a group from the Smeared and Smudged Forum. One of your monthly projects must follow the requirements of that group and be posted in that group. The groups will rotate. To view some of the groups available, please visit Smeared and Smudged on Ning.* You must actively participate in The Vent group on Smeared and Smudged. A minimum requirement is two posts a week.* You must promote Smeared Ink Stamps thru your blog, and whenever you see an opportunity.*International Applicants welcome.Benefits of Smeared Ink Design Team:* Your blog will be showcased on the Smeared and Smudged Blog, Smeared and Smudged forum, and Paper Craft Planet Group

SBS and MIC Collaboration: Day 2!

It's Day 2 of the totally rad Simply B Stamps and Make it Crafty collaboration! Echo Park Blog Hop with Imagine

Greetings! This is my second post for the day. This one is not part of the 31 Days of Halloween, but rather a super-duper blog hop that the Artists in Residence for Imagine are doing with Echo Park . So if you're here for my Day 7 project, please check out the post HERE . But before you do that, scroll on to check out this one. There are prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check out the Imagine Blog as well as the Echo Park Blogs for details. I created my background by applying Dandelion and Tangelo Memento Ink to my brayer. Then I sprayed it with Ink Potion No. 9 to help the colors blend and to act as an extender to keep the inks wet longer. After I rolled the colors out on to watercolor paper and let it dry, I stamped the lovely doily-like image from Echo Park's Simply Sweet Stamp Set with Grape Jelly Memento. I also received the super pretty Heart Doily Designer Die  which I used with a true purple cardstock. But it needed something....and in rolls the super fabul...
