C is for Cupcake and Creepy: Day 12 of 31 Days

Welcome to Day 12 of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween! Today, I have a cupcake to share with you. It's sweet....trust me....Mwahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!! I started off with the Spider Cupcake from A Day for Daisies . I colored it up with my watercolor markers. Awwww.....he's actually kinda cute! So I remembered, as I was trying to figure out how to complete the card, that I had a great stamp set from Bam POP! That has a cupcake, and the sentiment, "C is for cupcake." I thought it was almost perfect...but not quite Halloweenie enough. Then I remembered the "creepy" stamp that I used the other day. Ahhhhh! Grabbed my "&" symbol, and now the sentiment was perfect! I just had to use that fab chevron paper again. I'm entering this card in the current A Day for Daisies challenge, which is " All Sugared Up ". This was a quick ad easy card. Tomorrow's is a bit more elaborate. Be sure to check in! And also be sur...

Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop!

I am so excited to be in my very first Bombshell Stamps Blog Hop! I am so lovin’ these stamps. They are a blast to color in, and some of you may already know, I have always loved pin-up art! So, let’s get right to it! Here was the challenge Kas gave us: So... Pretty In Pink – use pink, pastel, or spring inspired projects. Doesn’t sound like your “cup of tea” How about an 80’s inspired project… A lot of different ways that this can be taken…it’s up to you to do your magic. Need some more ideas? Check out some great quotes from the movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091790/quotes And here is the prize that’s up for grabs! So I decided to go with an 80’s theme. I loved the 80’s! The big hair, the crazy makeup, the wacky clothes… ahh, memories! I used the Bombshell Angel image for this card. I think she’s so cool. And I think she’s lookin’ like she’s straight outta 1987 don’tcha think??? Here’s a close up: I used a lot of different markers from Sakura for this project. I drew on brigh...

The Greeting Farm Relay Day 2: Charlotte

I know, I know! 2 posts in one day (and it’s not even 8AM for me yet!!!). If you’d like to see my Twilight Tuesday project (please take a peek!), then click HERE . This post is all about Day 2 of The Greeting Farm’s Relay. Today, I bring you Charlotte. She is super sassy! I was a bit wary of her at first… I knew what I wanted to do… but wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. I had never done such a dark complexion before, and I didn’t want to screw it up. I think she turned out just fine though! Here’s a closeup…of course, you can click on any of my images to see them bigger too! The stamp I used (which totally makes this card!) says “Oh Snap!” it’s from Bam Pop! and I love them! I thought that that sentiment was purr-fect for Charlotte! Ok! So I’m off to give the kiddies breakfast now!

Hello Bot!

Where did this week go??? I have no idea! Actually I do know… I have been diligently listing things from my scrapbooking store (which I sadly had to close in May) up in the Barter Bin on Smeared & Smudged . Our leader Terra, has been kind enough to let us all post things we’d like to buy/sell/ trade from the stamping world. So naturally, I jumped at the chance! Wanna take a peek at what we all have to offer??? There are some MONSTER deals!!! But, you’ve gotta join Smeared and Smudged first! We are a group that is dedicated to gothic, vintage, fantasy, and other wacky-cool topics in the stamping world. Love Bombshells? You belong with us. Edward Gorey? Come join the party! Then, you can take a peek at the awesome stuff we are selling!!! But on to today’s project… I was rifling through some of the clear stamps that I’m selling, and I came across Bam Pop! Rhiannon is Rad!

Hello again! Before I tell you about my layout here, I'd like to mention 2 things. First, I am the proud winner of Julie's Blog Candy! Check out her fantabulous blog at: http://www.starsfallcreations.com/ ! Second (and this is pretty crazy!) you MUST go to http://www.twilighttuesday.com/ and check out the latest post (which just happens to be from Julie too!). Uhhh, yeah...that's ME! That's my mug that you see as soon as you get to the site! Holy crow! May I just say that I was shocked to see it?!?!? But SO EXCITED!!! What wonderful things are happening to me! So, on to radical Rhiannon! I made this page a few weeks ago and never had a chance to post it. I just LOVE this picture of her! And her little outfit ROCKS! I thought that it went perfectly with this paper. I cut out one of the rads that wound up behind her and glued it on top of the photo. I did the same with the little silver fellas that look like happy tribbles. I also used some great pink glittered cardstoc...
