TTSBC #2 Jasper Says Relax...

Hello again! Yes, I’ve been on a bit of a blog hiatus, what with the Holidays and the icky stomach virus that took up residence in my house. Somehow, I was very fortunate and was spared from getting sick, but Nix is still not quite right. Gene and Rhi seem to be just fine now. Thank you for all the well-wishes!!! So, I am pleased to announce that today marks the second Twilight Tuesday Scrapbooking Challenge! I am so excited about giving you these challenges every other Monday (I’ll be rotating with Dani’s awesome Sketch Challenges!). So, without further ado, here’s what you’ll find on the TTIC Blog: Welcome to the second Twilight Tuesday Scrapbooking Challenge! The Holidays are almost over, so maybe you can find some time to play along with us! This week's challenge is about one of the Cullen boys... Jasper has the special ability to control the emotions of the people in a room. He often made Bella relax in Twilight. Who in your life does that for you? Maybe you have a special pl...

Jasper Card

Woah! 2 posts in one day??? I think that’s happened only 1 other time! If you didn’t see my first post for today, please scroll down and check it out!!! So, I’m in love with The Greeting Farm . I love the “Sprouts.” They are adorable! Which is so weird… I don’t o adorable. It’s just not really my thing. I like creepy and weird. Cute? Not so much. I’d rather see other people tackle cute. But TGF has won me over, and there ain’t no goin’ back! This little guy really inspired me. As soon as I saw him, I knew what I wanted to do. No challenges involved, just me and my mind. And, it came out exactly how I wanted it to! I really wanted the “Relax” to be soft and barely there… which I think I achieved! I wanted the colors to all be quiet and serene, except for his wild hair! Oh, little Jasper is colored in using colored pencils. I live all the options you have with them. You can layer and blend, or let the tooth of the paper show through as I did with his hair. I thought it added to the wi...

Special Wednesday Challenge – Club Scrap!

So last week TTIC had it’s first special collaboration with Club Scrap. Well, it’s Wednesday again, so it’s time for the second challenge! Here’s what my Book Buddy Beth wrote: We’re back with another special Wednesday challenge! This is our second challenge sponsored by Club Scrap . For today’s challenge, Club Scrap has generously provided members of our Design Team with their Elegant 5×7 Expandable File kits , as well as their Geared Up Photo Flag book kits. You can see the kits, and shop online, at Club Scrap’s site . And today, we’re changing it up a bit – we’re doing an Anything But A Card challenge! It is pretty self explanatory, and will definitely make you think outside of the box! Try and go in a direction you wouldn’t normally. Additonally, we are using the Men & Women of Twilight as the theme or or non-cards. We know the men love their vehicles, and the Cullen women love their couture, and finer things. Take that and run! We can’t wait to see what you come up...

TTIC #27 Jasper Hale

So, I was pretty excited to do last week's Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge. I instantly had some cool ideas in my head that I thought would be different from all the rest. I'll get into that in a minute... But, I needed my copy of Breaking Dawn in order to have a quote/get my facts straight. My sis had my copy though... which you probably wouldn't think would be a big deal since she lives right next door!!! I also need to reference Eclipse, which I do have in my possesion. Unfortunately, she never gave me the copy, and now it's Tuesday again, and there's a new challenge. I still would like to try and do it, but since the week's up, I'll just blog a little about it and if I have time (and she brings me my book), I'll make the project I had in mind. Fingers crossed that I get the time!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! So, in Breaking Dawn, you finally hear about Jasper's story when he first became a vampire, and his "life" before the Cullens. It...
