Day 6 of 12 Days of Creepmas

Can you believe we are halfway done already? This month is seriously going by even faster than October! Really quickie post today..... There's that Santa hat again! I just keep gravitating towards it! All of my images today are from Bombshell Stamps . The sets I used was Holiday Accessory , and Calaveras Fiesta . Sorry this pic is kinda out of focus. I used only watercolors for this, though I embossed my skelli. How thoughtful of the skeleton to bring a gift! And look at what a cute teddy ear it is! Like I said...short post today! Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers, listed in my side bar. Thanks for stopping by. Have a creeptastic day!

Name Your Poison with Bombshell Stamps

Hello again! Today over at the Bombshell Blog , we are celebrating our June Wacky Holiday. This month, it's Name Your Poison Day. What's that, you ask? Allow me to share the following info, courtesy of Holiday Insights . "Name Your Poison Day is a day to make a choice. The term "Name Your Poison" is commonly used to suggest that you select among a number of options. This term has a negative connotation. The origin of this term is unknown. But, at the time, it probably referred to some unhappy choice. It is commonly used when asking someone what type of alcoholic drink they want. But, it is also used to refer to any choice of options, good or bad. For example, "Name Your Poison" may refer to selecting an ice cream flavor, a dessert choice, etc. Celebrate today by making a decision..... Name Your Poison. I used Calaveras Fiesta and Tiki Party from Bombshell for this card. I also used this month's Bombshell Sketch as inspiration for the card. ...

Skull Appreciation Day Blog Hop!!!

Greetings! This is a HUGE day for fans of gothic, dark, and alternative art. It's Skull Appreciation Day! I have participated in this hop since it's inception, and I have really been looking forward to it. You should be coming to me from Domino Art . If not, why not hop over to Terra's Blog , where this creep-tastic hop begins. I made 2 projects for this exciting, yet unusual celebration. The first is a Step Card. I had a lot of fun with this. The card features images from Rick St. Dennis . I used a LOT of Rick's images for this Step Card. Here's the list:  Pirate Nayja ,  Going, Going, Gone ,  SkuLl with Roses  (sans the roses),  Treason ,  Monument,    and I Have My Eye on You from the  Smeared & Smudged  Rubber Club. All images except for I Have My Eye on You are available in Rick's Etsy Shop .  This was quite a time consuming piece...but well worth it! How beautiful is Nayja? She is a stunning pirate! I have h...

Day 8 of 31 Days of Halloween: Calaveras Fiesta Pendant

Welcome to day 8! I am combining today's Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween post with the new Muse Monday post over at the Bombshell Stamps Blog . What's Muse Monday? Well, you'll need to visit the Bombshell Blog to find out! I made this pendant using the Calaveras Fiesta set. I had a piece of wood that I painted white, then I stamped the skeleton with Versa Craft ink. I added a bit of color, then added the tassels and embossed them. Can you see the bits of glitter in the embossing powder on the top of the pendant? I used my Crafter's Workshop Mini Punchinella stencil with alcohol inks on the side. This was fun (and quick!). I have been itching to make some pendants...and I have a few more planned for the month. But now it's time for you to visit the rest of the Wicked Bloggers. They are all posted on my side bar. And don't forget to visit the Bombshell Blog to get the scoop on Muse Monday! Thanks for stopping by. Have a fang-tastic...

Day 6 of 31 Days of Halloween and World Card Making Day!

Today is a 3-fer with one all inclusive card. Not only is it World Card Making Day, plus day 6 of the Smeared & Smudged 31 Days of Halloween, but it is also Mad Hatter Day. The Bombshell Gals decided it would be fun to celebrate World Card Making Day. This year, WCMD coincides with Mad Hatter Day so we thought it would be fun to make projects that contain at least 1 hat. And of course, I needed to make it Halloweenie! I decided to go with the Calaveras Fiesta set. The Calaveras Fiesta set comes with 4 different hats. And I couldn't decide which of those hats to use...so I decided to use them all! Plus I added the pirate's hat from Pirate's Life . I constructed this card, by starting off with cutting out the wheel and attaching it to the card base with a brad. I made sure to keep the wheel sticking out past the card, so that it's easy to spin. When I figured out where I wanted my skeleton to be, I punched out a hole where the hats should be...
