4 Challenges in one!

Post number 2 for today! If you are looking for the latest StampInsanity Challenge, please scroll down to the post below! It’s a great challenge, so don’t miss it!

Now, I don’t really have time to figure out which challenges can go with what from week to week, but for some reason, several of them just fell into place with each other this time around! But before I get into that anymore, let me show you my latest card:

This is the Wild Flower Kids’ version of Alice. Ain’t she sweet? You can nab her over at Paper Craft Planet. The WFK challenge this week is to use Pink and Orange. I don’t know what it is, but lately I am drawn to the citrusy colors (which is so not my normal style!), so I had to play along with this challenge. Plus, my bud over at Smeared and Smudged, Kim, is having a photo challenge at her blog. Click HERE for the deets. The Whimsical Wednesdays blog wants us to create something that reminds us of Spring. The colors in this card are SO very Spring to me! And last, but certainly not least, Friends Having Fun (via Erica) challenges us to do something Alice in Wonderland themed!

Woah! That’s a lot! I really need to know how you mutli challengers keep up with it all!

Here’s a close up of Alice. I didn’t want to make her blonde. I almost gave her pink hair, but I didn’t think she swung that way! So, I kept her a lovely brunette!

Ok, after all the time I spent keeping track of these challenges, I have run out of steam! And, I hear The Girl stirring…nap time is ova!!! Have an inspiring day everyone!

Echo Park Blog Hop with Imagine

Greetings! This is my second post for the day. This one is not part of the 31 Days of Halloween, but rather a super-duper blog hop that the Artists in Residence for Imagine are doing with Echo Park . So if you're here for my Day 7 project, please check out the post HERE . But before you do that, scroll on to check out this one. There are prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check out the Imagine Blog as well as the Echo Park Blogs for details. I created my background by applying Dandelion and Tangelo Memento Ink to my brayer. Then I sprayed it with Ink Potion No. 9 to help the colors blend and to act as an extender to keep the inks wet longer. After I rolled the colors out on to watercolor paper and let it dry, I stamped the lovely doily-like image from Echo Park's Simply Sweet Stamp Set with Grape Jelly Memento. I also received the super pretty Heart Doily Designer Die  which I used with a true purple cardstock. But it needed something....and in rolls the super fabul...

Mediterranean Dreams Shaker

Hello! Today I have a card that features the Mediterranean Dreams Subscription Kit from White Rose Crafts.  This fabulous Subscription Kit brings together sparkling, azure Mediterranean seas, sun-bleached shores and the rich colors of vibrant Mediterranean cultures in a carefully curated kit. I knew I just had to try the Jillibean Soup shaker card and I chose to use one of the stamps (from Kaisercraft) to make my background. I stamped the seashell with Tea Dye Distress Oxide all over the background of the card. Then I applied some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide to my craft mat, spritzed it with some water, and splattered it on to my card base. Last, I inked the edges with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide with a Mini Blending Brush. For my sentiment, I die cut a stitched rectangle from my stash, out of the pearly yellow cardstock that came in the kit and stamped it with "Wish You Were Here" stamp from the same "Summer Splash" stamp set, with StazOn Pigment ink. And ...

Our Favorites: ADfD Blog Hop

***Sorry for the late posting....Blogger doesn't always play nice! Today is the first day of our  ADFD Blog Hop  - a celebration of all of the beautiful images Tammy has created over the years. As a special surprise for Tammy, we have a combination of current and former DT members participating in the hop. Her inspiring art and generous heart have touched us all. We want to take a moment to show our gratitude and thank Tammy for the blessings and joys we have received as members of the ADFD DT. Our theme is “A Collection of ADFD Favorites” - so each DT member’s blog you visit will share something she has created with one of her favorite ADFD images.  The hop has   hidden prizes  - a commenter from each hidden prize stop will win a choice of one image from the ADFD Shop ! You won’t know where the prizes are hidden, so be sure to leave a comment at each stop of the Hop!  Our Blog Hop will run from 7:00 a.m. eastern standard time on Saturday, February 25,...
