Free Time

Hello! Free Time is not something I ever have very much of, but it's the name of the digi I used from A Day for Daisies today.

Last week, I shared the card I made for my daughter on her first day of school. This is the card I made for my son. My son loooooves to read, so I knew this would be perfect for him. And, to add a little bit more personalization, I mismatched the socks on the boy, just like my son does every day.

I used my Zig Clean Color Markers and a water brush to color in the image. My boy likes a bit of sparkle, so I spritzed my card with Imagine's Sheer Shimmer in Sparkle.

My sentiment is from Stampendous. I'm happy to report that he had a great first day, and he loved his card. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium .
