A Pillow Book is a diary of sorts. It doesn't just talk about the day's events, but contains lists, observations, conversations, musings, anything the writer feels like writing about really. 21st Century is because this is a modern pillow book, since it's done on a computer.
This is me. This is what my life is all about. I will let you into my head a bit... feel what I'm feeling, see what I'm creating, understand what I'm learning. Enjoy my journey right along with me!

Temporarily mount the Umbrella Background stencil on to Mixed Media paper. Load your stencil brush with yellow acrylic paint, then rub most of it out on to a paper towel. This will allow you to do a dry brush technique on your paper, and will prevent the paint from seeping under the stencil. It is really important to remove most of the paint from the brush. You can always layer more, but you can’t remove what you’ve put down. When you are happy with the yellow layer, apply some green to only some areas using the same dry brush technique. Once the paint has dried, round the corners.
Create your card base using a dark green cardstock. Cut to 6 1/2″ x 10″ and fold in half.
Cut a mat out of turquoise cardstock. Use dark turquoise paint to apply the Rain Stencil in a similar manner as you did the Umbrella Background.
Glue all layers and add a small piece of chevron ribbon.
