Hello again!  Stampendous has these awesome stamps called "All in Ones." Fran Seiford, Owner and Founder of Stampendous, understands that holiday card making can be time consuming. Plus, it's not always easy to find images that go together to make the perfect card. Enter the All in Ones from Stampendous. These darling stamps are the perfect size to make a whole card. Easy shapes to cut with scissors or simply stamp on a colored background, these stamps have a focal image, a background, a frame, and a phrase for the holidays. Just stamp it, sign it, mail it. Greetings! The A Day for Daises team is busy showcasing the Veggie Lover images, and this week is also a new challenge week. So, we ask that you "Add Some Plaid!" ***If you are looking for my Left of Center Post, please click HERE . I used the Fancy Onion for my project today. I painted the image with watercolors. I didn't think I'd ever enjoy painting veggies...but ya know what? It's a lot of fun! I found a great plaid in my stash that worked perfectly with my onions. I die cut a couple of ovals, and I textured some of the edges for a more rustic feel. Then I used my Small Typewriter Font alphabet set from Stampendous for my sentiment. The rest of the card is pretty simple so the onions would really be highlighted. So, will you join us this week? Don't forget to add some plaid! Hello out there! I have a new Left of Center project for you today. This week, we are sponsored by SLS Lines , and the challenge is to "Use Mainly Blue." ***If you are looking for my A Day for Daisies Post, please click HERE . I chose to work with Garden Fairy Flower Fairy . I think she's so pretty. I colored her with my Tombow watercolor markers, and used some chalks for my background. Here's a closeup. For my card base, I used a purple Dylusions spray on the super cool Mosaic Swirls Dreamweaver stencil. I spritzed the stencil directly, and then placed the wet stencil on to my green card. This gave me the negative image of the stencil. Of course, I sprayed the stencil on to white cardstock, so I have the positive image to use at a later date. The Stampendous team has been building snowmen all week, and since it's Dreamweaver Thursday, we will be using some fabulous stencils with today's projects. Today, my card features the Whispered Wishes stamp and the Chevron Background stencil. I colored these sweet friends with my Chameleon Pens . This is a great image for those pens. I also love that this image has a sentiment built right in. Making your finished card is that much easier because of it. And, you can always not ink the sentiment if you don't want to use it...or only ink the sentiment. Lots of options here! For the Chevron Background, I used the super fun and sparkly Double Glitter Technique. You can check out a video tutorial HERE . It's really easy, and the effect is fantastic! On my card base, I sprayed a little green Dylusions spray. This is a pretty quick card to make. Hello! It's time for a new Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge. This week, we are sponsored by Oddball Art , and the theme is "Back to School." I made a little twist on that though. I used Ms. Ann Thrax #102B for my ATC. I cropped her quite a bit so that I can get her upper half bigger on my ATC. I colored her with Prismacolor markers, and I used the Small Typography set from Stampendous for my sentiment that reads, "Back to Ghoul." She looks like she would be a fun teacher, doesn't she? Ugh, I can't even believe I used that title....as now that darn song is going to be stuck in my head for days. Not really a huge fan of the film, although it is beautiful, and I do like Olaf. Speaking of the little snowman, this week, the Stampendous team is sharing various projects made with snowmen. And I've got one to share with you today. I used the Build a Snowman set (no, really! That's what it's called!) I built these 2 friends using several of the stamps in the set. 6 total, plus the sentiment. I also used 5 snowflakes from the set on my card base. I colored the snowmen with Prismacolor markers, and 2 Spectrum Noir markers. I created the clouds (or crazy avalanche?) using the Picasso Stencil from Stampendous/Dreamweaver. I used Tumbled Glass ink for that. I used a Spellbinders die to cut that funky shape out. I heat embossed my snowflake background with Sparkle Puff embossing powder. It has just enough dimension, coupled with just enough glitter. ...

Hello! The A Day for Daisies team is showcasing some delicious veggies! You still have time to "Add Some Sequins" with our latest challenge, so get those projects made. Today, I am sharing a card that I made with Fancy Onion, but I colored it to look like garlic. Though, as a gardener, I must mention that garlic is in the onion family. I used Copics to color the foliage, and Spectrum Noir to color the bulbs. I loved making this card because it came together so quickly. Here's a close up. I used a Spellbinder die for my oval, a scrap for my band of patterned cardstock, a Kraft card base, and a creamy gray for my background. Ooh! And 3 pearls....it needed some pearls.
