The Simply B Stamps Team is halfway through our latest preview of the Teen Scene Summer Fun collection! Today we are previewing Lifeguard Christian. I'm sure many gals would be happy if this cutie came to rescue them! Isn't he great? I had a lot of fun coloring his uniform. And that rad surfboard of his! Ooh, and I tried a new technique for the sand. Do you like it? Here's a closer look. It's new for me, at least. I am really happy with the "texture" of it. My sentiment if from StampInsanity, I thought it was perfect for Christian! I added a single red button and some sparkly fibers for a bit more texture. The card is kinda simple, but i didn't want to overpower this great image! Tomorrow the SBS gals will have another image to preview for you. I am quite sure you will like it! Who wants to lay on the beach in the warm sun? Perhaps have a water balloon fight? or maybe have a splash in a pool? Well, the new Teen Scene Summer Fun images from Simply B Stamps sure do! We have a fabulous new collection for you, that is all about enjoying some hot summer fun! Today, we are reviewing Pool Time Miller. Wait until you see this guy! Hilarious right? I had SO much fun coloring this image! There's a lot of detail, but it's not difficult stuff. Pure fun!  And I liked it so much, that I decided to keep the rest of the card super simple. Just a few waves made out of Stickles and Liquid Pearls. Here's a close up of Miller. I used a ton of watercolor and Copic markers for this. It was just begging to be filled with uber bright colors! Hello! Today I am sharing the latest DICC challenge with you, a day late, but hopefully not a buck short! Our newest Design Team member, Trudie , came up with the latest itinerary. 1. Shaped Card (no squares or rectangles) 2- Die cut shapes 3- Punched shapes 4- Bright colours  5- Twine 6- Buttons 7- 2 images 8- One word sentiment 9- Tree 10- Clouds For my card, I used item #'s 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10. This card also works for the latest Raise the Bar challenge, Lei Day.   I worked with Bombshell Stamps ' Hula Girl for this card. I used a number of elements from this set on the card. I colored the items up with ink, Distress Inks, watercolor markers, and Copics.  I love this set  because  of the little scenes that you can create. And let's face it, that Hula Girl is super cool! We have a new challenge at the Beyond the Burtonesque Dolls Blog! The challenge this time around is: "If I were a Zombie, I'd eat you most." Basically, make something lovey dovey, but zombified! And there are plenty of interpretations for this one! Here's what I came up with. I used this sexy zombie from Simply B Stamps , and the quote that inspired this challenge. Isn't she fabulous? I used watercolor markers and Copics to color her, plus 2 Distress Inks to, well, distress my edges. Plus a few drips of Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist. Hello! It's release day for the Toxic Teens from Simply B Stamps ! I hope you checked out the Beyond the Burtonesque Dolls post yesterday, as that's the team that's sharing these cool new images with you. If you didn't, please go and visit The Dolls. Yesterday we previewed 3 new images for you. Today, we are sharing the last 4 in the new Toxic Teens collection. I have 3 cards to show you here. Up first, is Tommy. I love this little guy. He's adorable. And super cool. I love coloring these images because of all the details. Check out his rad sneakers, for example.  I colored Tommy (and my other 2 images with a combination of watercolor markers and Copics. That little music note stamp coming out of Tommy's headphones is from Inkadinkado. Now, the next 2 images are really special to me. Betty Boo named them after my kidlings!!! How cool is that? Yes, yes! It is time for another preview with Simply B Stamps . But this time, it is with the Beyond the Burtonesque Dolls ! We are previewing 3 of the new Toxic teens today, and the last 4 will be tomorrow. And, they will be available for purchase tomorrow! I have one project to share with you today. This is Charlotte. Isn't she sweet? I love her! How great is her hat?! I used my watercolor markers and my Copics to color Charlotte in. And I used some of my favorite colors! It's release day for the new Simply B Stamps, Jude and the Rockers Just for Fun collection! Plus, we have a special blog hop for you today! We will be sharing the last image in the collection with you, which is Fireman Jude. You should be coming here from  Barbara's Blog . If you get lost along the way, you can hop over to the SBS Blog to get back on track.  Would you like to see what I've made? Look at Jude with his little puppy! I was a little worried about coloring this image at first, because of all the black. I wanted the textures to look different, since the uniform is obviously made of a much different material than the hat is! Do you think I succeeded? I made the shine on the uniform a little blotchy, and I used more of a flicking technique on the helmet, as I imagine that it would be much shinier than the uni. I found some fabulous yellow fabric in with my Mom's scraps that I just had to use. I frayed the heck out ...
