21st Century Pillow Book

Mwahahahahaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!! It's finally here! The Smeared Ink 31 Days of Halloween! This is the 7th year! I can't believe it. I am super stoked to kick things off this year, so let's get to it! For my first project, I made a card that features the super rad Skeleton Lady stamp from Stampendous. The focal image is all one stamp. I love the collaged look that it has. You can click on my photos to see them bigger. I am really excited about this year of 31 Days, because I am now on the Stampendous Design Team. I love to represent them! Plus, the Stampendous blog is taking part in posting this year, so you will get to see what my fellow teamies are making too. My image here was colored with Tombow watercolor markers, and I spritzed it with irRESISTables from Tsuineko. Here's a close up. For my background, I did a couple of things. Hello! Have I got a post for your today! I have five, that's right, FIVE ATCs to share with you today. I was so beyond inspired by this week's Wicked Wednesday sponsor, that I just couldn't help myself! So who is it? Vera Lane ! Now with this many projects, I'm not going to into great detail with what I did for each one. But if you have a question for me, please ask! I'll be happy to answer. I colored almost all of the images with my Tombow watercolor markers. This first ATC features the Whimsical Mermaid set. My backgrounds were done with a combination of Dylusions, and Memories Mists sprays. At the bottom of this ATC, I used Green Mica Fragments , from Stampendous . My next ATC features the focal image from The Little Witch set. My background uses a few of the stamps from the Stampendous Spooky House Perfectly Clear set. Greetings! It's time for some more Mousey Mischief with the Stampendous Design Team. Since it's Dreamweaver Thursday, we have all incorporated some fabulous Dreamweaver Stencils along with the sweet House Mouse Designs images. For my project today, I created a back to school card for one of my kids. I used School Supplies for my House Mouse stamp. I love that he's juggling with his feet! I used one of the Nesting Frames dies from Dreamweaver to cut the image out. I kept the die in place and applied some Summer Sky Versa Color ink with a sponge dauber around the perimeter. When I removed the die, I had a thin white border around the edge. The stamped image itself was colored with my Tombow markers. For my background, I used the Lg Chunky Tools stencil, which is becoming a fast favorite of mine. I used Smokey Gray ink and a dauber to use only the pencil portion of the stencil. Hello and welcome to a new Wicked Wednesday  ATC challenge. This week, we are sponsored by Digi My World , and the challenge is "Not in Kansas Anymore." I worked with their adorable version of the Tin Man. I totally fell in love with him, because he's adorable!He's from the Big Eye Oz collection. He's so cah-yute!!!!! I used my Chameleon Pens to color him. These markers were perfect to make him look metallic. I used an old Care Bears sentiment stamp that says "100% Heart," with my Silver Delicata ink, and a couple of scraps that I had. The silver scrap is actually metallic, and has bits of glitter. Yup...I'm late. Stupid late. Like, it's almost tomorrow! But,, these past 2 weeks have been insanely busy. Pampered Chef meetings, Pampered Chef Shows (need anything??? ;) ), school meetings, regular errands....so my apologies for posting so...late..... I used the Jack O Lantern stencil from Dreamweaver Stencils. First, I applied alcohol inks to one side of the stencil, much like I did with the spider web stencil on my Hedwig card. But this time I used textured cardstock and 2 colors of ink, so the look is totally different. Because of this, I felt my Jacks didn't stand  out enough, so I cleaned off my stencil and inked them. So I used the most stunning gold ink that I've ever seen. Delicata Golden Glitz from Imagine Crafts . Love the shimmer, and in person it's even more beautiful. I used the fantastic Hot Air Balloon stencil and colored it up using the stunning Radiant Neon collection from Tsukineko. Each color of the neons has been used in the balloon.
