Ok. This is officially one of my favorite things that I have made for the 31 Days of Halloween so far! It may be one of my favorite things that I have done in a while…I hope you love it too! So our family of 4 went to Salem, Mass. last month. My husband and I used to go every year…but then the kidlings came, and our trips were no more. But we decided that we just had to go back this year. We couldn’t take it anymore. We love it there so much, we couldn’t stand to be away any longer. One of my favorite places to visit in Salem is the Charter Street Cemetery. It’s right next to the Witch Trials Memorial and it’s the cemetery that has “my” beloved tree. You may have seen a layout with this tree before… Actually, I posted about it one year ago! Click HERE to see that post. But I digress… This cemetery fascinates me. I just feel so at ease there. A Pillow Book is a diary of sorts. It doesn't just talk about the day's events, but contains lists, observations, conversations, musings, anything the writer feels like writing about really. 21st Century is because this is a modern pillow book, since it's done on a computer.
