21st Century Pillow Book

Hi! It's Wednesday so I have a new Wicked Wednesday challenge to share with you. Our sponsor is Enchanted Designz Studio . And our new theme is: Pick 3 from the list and mention what they are in your post: Wings Pearls or Gems Lots of Pink Goth or Emo Paper Piecing Add a Die Cut Flowers Add Some Paint Use Mists or Sprays Washi Tape I used Cupcake Cutie for my ATC. I used Gelly Roll and Stardust pens to color her in. As for the above list, I used washi tape, flowers, wings, and gems. Check out all of the sparkle from the Stardust pens! Hello! For today's project, I decided to not go the Halloween route. Instead I went down the path of Dia de los Muertos. Today is the day the October Sketch is revealed on the Bombshell Blog , so I of course wanted to play along. For this card, I went with 2 sets from Bombshell Stamps . Dia de los Muertos and All My Heart . I went for a very pastel color pallet  which is very unusual for me. I used watercolor markers and Copics for all of my images. I love how the wings turned out. I used a little bit of Star Dust Stickles, and it really gave the wings some dimension and magic. I think perhaps next  time, I may try what some of the other talented Wicked Bloggers do, and layer the heck out of those wings for some real dimension. I used the same Stickles around the sentiment. If you've seen the original sketch, you'll see that I altered it slightly. I did that to better suit the position of my focal image. So a bit of a break fro...

It's Friday! And it's October. So, that means I have 2 projects to share with you...both from Dilly Beans (can you tell I LOVE being on this Design Team?!). The first is for this week's challenge , which is "Pink and Purple." I used Lulu Framed for this card. She was a blast to color! I love her curly hair...and all of those stripes. I used watercolor markers and a couple of Copics for Lulu. This is another one of Dilly Bean's "Big Eye Girls  that I love so much. I used a Crafter's Workshop with ink for the pink polka dots and the swirly background. I hope you will play along with our challenge this week!
