So if you were stranded on a desert island, and you had to use at least 3 of the items from the list, what would you create? To explain even further, here's the list for the next 2 weeks: 1. Horrorscopes with Wicked Wednesday

Greetings! Today I give you...something creepy..... Ahhhh, it feels good to be creepy again. I have been doing a whole lotta cute...which is great, but I much prefer dark and kinda evil. Mwahahaha! My 2nd post today (that's right! Second.) is for Wicked Wednesday . We are sponsored by Delicious Doodles this week, and the theme is "Horrorscopes." I worked with Scorpio, and I colored him (very carefully!) with my Memento Markers from Imagine Crafts . Then, I went to town with some irRESISTables sprays, also from Imagine Crafts. I used Desert Sand and Tuxedo Black. You can see the shine and texture that the irRESISTables have. I love that stuff! Please be sure to visit the Wicked Wednesday Blog to see what other Horrors the team have to share with you. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Feathers and Sandy Claws

Today is one of those days where my projects are on opposite sides of the spectrum. My first project is for A Day for Daisies , and the second is for Left of Center . ***If you are looking for my latest Stampendous post, please click HERE . Isn't this the sweetest image? It's called Bird in Flight . The joy on this boy's face makes me smile. Our theme this week is "Add a Feather." I colored the image with my Tombow markers, and I added the polka dots with my white Sakura pen. My feather was created with my Feather stencil from Dreamweaver. I outlined it with a black PITT pen, and then I used some watercolors to color it in. I fussy cut the Bird in Flight image out and added it on top of my feather. I also added a sweet sentiment from Stampendous! and some drops of Platinum Liquid Pearls. Ink, more paper...layer, layer, voila! Now....opposite end of the spectrum. This week's theme for Left of Center is "Based on a Song." We are sponsore...

Looking Gorgeous and a Raven

Greetings! I have 2 projects to share with you today. One is for A Step in the Dark , and the other is for Wicked Wednesday . Anything Goes over at ASitD, and we are sponsored by the creep-tastic Delicious Doodles. This stunning raven was a must-use for this project. It's got beautiful detail All I had to color was the branch, and I added a bit of Antique Linen Distress Ink to dull out the white of my paper. I had a deep eggplant paint chip that happened to have a little moon on it that I thought worked really well. I used the Stone Wall from Dreamweaver Stencils to add to my background, as well as a few spritzes of irRESISTables spray from Imagine Crafts. Wicked Wednesday is sponsored by All Dressed Up. The challenge this week is Favorite Color Combo. This digi is aptly named Looking Gorgeous. I used one of my favorite color combos: purple and teal, with a bit of hot pink, and lime green. I loved coloring her hair. I used a combination of watercolor markers as ...

Leo with Wicked Wednesday

Hello! It's time for the newest Wicked Wednesday challenge! This week, we are sponsored by the fabulous Delicious Doodles , and the theme is Leo. And, it just happens to be our Fearless Leader Jenn's birthday!!! Happy Birthday, Beautiful! Here's my ATC. Isn't this Horror Scope version of Leo fantastic? I love it. I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers. I had a scrap piece of paper that I had used a folder to emboss swirls on to, and I thought it worked well with the image. Then, a little bit of zebra-striped washi tape finished it off. I think this image s going to get used for the 31 Days of Halloween this year. I heard through the grapevine that sign ups should be starting soon! Can't wait! But for now, please visit the Wicked Wednesday Blog to see what the rest of the team has created. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

This is Cranium Caresses . It's a creep-tastic image that I totally love. I colored the image with colored pencils. My not-so-pleasant sentiment was made with a Just Rite alpha stamper. Please visit the rest of the Wicked Wednesday gals over at the challenge Blog . And visit me again tomorrow for the next installment of the Imagine Crafts/Dreamweaver Stencils collaboration!

A Step in the Dark's 1st Challenge and Wicked Wednesday

Hello! It's a big day for me today! I get to share the first challenge with the brand new A Step in the Dark blog. It's where creative meets creepy. I also have a new Wicked Wednesday challenge. Let's start with the A Step in the Dark, shall we? We are sponsored by Delicious Doodles, and the challenge is "Skulls." I decided to work with Deadly Nightshade . I colored this stunner of an image with Spectrum Noir markers. Here's a closer look. I went with colors I don't often use together. I don't typically do citrus tones...so this was a challenge for me. Did you notice the leaves in my background? Those were made using a new die from Dreamweaver Stencils. I am entering this card into the following challenge- Left of Center's "Spring Fling."   http://leftofcenterchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/challenge-30-spring-fling-with.html?m=1 Now...on to Wicked Wednesday. The theme this week is "Tropical Colors," and we a...

Taurus with Wicked Wednesday and Flowerful with Bombshell

Greetings! Today I have a new Wicked Wednesday ATC and a new card with Bombshell Stamps . This week at WW, we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles, and the theme is Taurus. Here's what I made. Have you seen the 80's movie Legend? It's one of my top 3 favorite movies of all time. I immediately thought of Tim Curry's character, the Lord of Darkness, hence the red skin and black horns. The glare is terrible on this photo. Sorry about that. She is colored with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers.  Now, on to Bombshell. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough people sign up for today's scheduled Hump Day Hop. But, I (and some of the other girls) wanted to share our projects anyway. The theme was supposed to be Flowerful. Here's what I made. I used Rose's Portrait and Girl's Ruin (for the banner) for my card. Again, these images are colored with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers. I hope that we run the Hump Day Hop next month. Please sign up if yo...

DICC #74

Hello! I have a new Desert Islands Crafters Challenge to share with you. This time around, we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles and Rick St. Dennis . I just won a new image from Delicious Doodles, and I was super excited to use it. Her name is Gothicka , and I think she rocks. As usual, you need to use at least 3 of the items from our itinerary. Here's the list. 1. Something hidden/a surprise 2. Purple 3. Twine 4. Die cut 5. Heat embossing 6. For a man 7. Dog or Cat 8. Distressed 9. Sparkles 10. Moveable parts For my project, I used #'s 2, 4, 5, 8, and 9. I made a 6x6 mini page. Seriously, isn't she stunning? I LOVED coloring her.  I colored her with watercolor markers, alcohol markers, and watercolor paints for the background. My husband thinks she looks like me. I disagree, but I also think it's quite a compliment. :) I used some great embossing powders for the "Goddess" (from Smeared Ink) and the snake skin-like background. I hop...

Wicked Wednesday: Aquarius

Greetings! I have a new Wicked Wednesday challenge to share with you today. This week, we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles . LOVE Teri's images. The challenge this week is Aquarius. Delicious Doodles came out with 2 sets of astrological digis. The Astrology Collection and the Horrorscope Collection. I chose to go with the Horrorscope version of Aquarius . I colored her with colored pencils. She really looks rather wicked, no? The image has a lot of great detail, so I didn't want to overwhelm it with lots of "stuff" so I kept the rest of the ATC simple. Wanna see more? Then please visit the rest of the Wicked Wednesday team! Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

Day 8 of the 12 Days of Creepmas: Creepmas Centerpiece

Hello! It's the 8th day of the Smeared & Smudged 12 Days of Creepmas. It's also my daughter's birthday! I cannot my little girl is 5 today! Today's project features a fang-tastic image from Delicious Doodles . Terri (owner and artist of DD) had a Facebook contest to name the image I used today. And I won! It's called Creepmas Centerpiece. Isn't it rad? I colred the image with Spectrum Noir markers, and I used watercolor paints for my background. I love the way Teri draws hands. When I colored in the candle, I knew I had to use my Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch to mimic the dripping wax. The other punch is from EK Success. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Jolly Bloggers, all listed in my side bar. And now....I leave you a photo of my and my lovely little girl, at a Steampunk Convention we went to last month. Happy Birthday, Rhiannon! Thanks for stopping by. Have a creeptastic day!

Twilight Blog Hop! Plus a New DICC!

Greetings fellow Twi-hards! Greetings! I have TWO projects today! First, I have a new Twilight project to share, and then a new Desert Islands Crafters Challenge card. Tonight is the night! It is the release for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2! I cannot believe that the last movie is finally being released. Will you be at a premiere? I am going to a marathon, though unfortunately  I won't be able to see all of the movies. I'll only be watching the last 3. But it will be loads of fun, none the less. I decided that since this was the last movie, I needed to do one last Twilight hop. One more hurrah before it was all over. So, I asked which of my fellow Twi-friends wanted to hop along with me. Happily, there were 6 gals that wanted to join me. So there are 7 awesome stops in this Blog Hop. And we all made some fabulous, Twilight inspired projects! I am the first stop on the hop, so if you are just starting to hop, you are in the right place! Here's what I came up with. ...

Day 23 of 31 Days: Pumpkin Witch

Hello! Today I have a card featuring an awesome image from Delicious Doodles called Pumpkin Witch. I think she is really cool, and I am sure you will agree. I colored the Pumpkin Witch with watercolor markers, Copics, and finished her background with watercolors. The fabulous Birch trees are a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop, and I brushed Black Gold Glimmer Mist on to the base of the card. It has such a lovely shimmer. I've gotta be honest, as I type this, I am exhausted! It's been a busy month! And I have more work to do on the computer tonight. So, I will show you another photo and then I will bid you adieu. Please be sure to visit the rest of the Smeared & Smudged Wicked Bloggers. They are all listed in my side bar. Thanks fr stopping by. Have a fang-tastic day!
